It’s stays noticeably fresh thanks to the quality packaging, and for such a premium dark roast it’s an unbeatable value.

First coffee that my husband and I agreed on! Full bodied flavor and not too bitter as many dark roasts have a tendency to be.

You could just smell it was going to be a good cup by the aroma wafting past me as it percolates. I didn’t recognize any bitter aftertaste. And seems to be pretty consistent from cup to cup. Definitely a staple coffee to have on hand, especially when my mom visits. As it is her coffee of choice. I would definitely recommend this as a pantry essential. Especially if some of your guests are not pod drinkers.

Also I love the aroma, it's definitely enough to wake me up lol! This is great if you're looking for something that brews strong but isn't too harsh. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. In the last 10 months or so I started making coffee at home. I prefer coffee with creamers and syrups (more of a dessert) than plain. This coffee is a dark roast and is described as having flavor of dark cocoa and mild sweetness. I don’t know if my palate is not refined when it comes to coffee but I tasted black coffee without anything added to it. I enjoyed this with several different flavors of zero sugar creamers. It is smooth and doesn’t have the burnt acidic aftertaste/smell that another more pricey brand I bought has. I don’t necessarily like the container it comes in because I don’t think I will be able to repurpose it afterwards but it may be more eco friendly and it isn’t a bag or the plastic jug. Any time I can eliminate plastic I am all for it. I gave this five stars because in my limited coffee experience I have nothing bad to share about this coffee.

I don't drink it black, I put some creamer in there but I can still tell good coffee from bad coffee. And this is good coffee! There's no flavor to it, it's just plain coffee but I felt like it was smooth. It comes in a nice sealable container and is ground really smooth. Sometimes Folgers has a bit of a burnt taste but I didn't get that from this particular kind. It was full bodied and mixed really well with some cream.

I’m usually not a fan of dark roast coffee, but this one was really good! It has a bold flavor without being bitter, and it goes down smoother than expected. This feels like a coffee that has withstood the test of time. Its nostalgic in the best way. To me, this tastes similar to a light roast which isn't my favorite roast however it is still very good. There is an extra little kick to it that the classic roast does not have. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

The flavor is bold and rich without being too bitter , making it perfect for starting my day , the aroma is strong and inviting, filling the room as it brews . It's not sweet on its own . But it pairs well with a splash of cream or sugar if you like smoother taste . The grind quality is consistent. And it brews nicely in my coffee maker .

This coffee has a low acidity which is very beneficial if you have stomach issues like I do. I really like the recyclable container it comes in its cardboard so you can crush it so it doesn't take up a lot of space in your recycling bin. This coffee is good quality and a reasonable price point. If you like chocolatety flavored coffee this could be the perfect coffee for you.
