Purpose

Antacid..

Uses

heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, upset stomach associated with these symptoms.

Warnings

do not take more than 7 tablets in 24 hours,if pregnant do not take more than 5 tablets in 24 hours,do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks, except under the advice and supervision of a doctor.

Directions

Do not take for symptoms that persist for more than 2 weeks unless advised by a doctor.

Adults and Children 12 Years of Age and Over

Chew 2-3 tablets as symptoms occur, or as directed by a doctor. Chew or crush tablets completely before swallowing.

Other information

Each tablet contains: elemental calcium 410 mg, magnesium 5 mg, sodium 2 mg. Store below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F).

Not for me

I know other people swear by this product but it did nothing to alleviate my heartburn symptoms. The tablets were chalky and the awful taste stayed with me forever.

Ha, could eat like all the time ( I know medicine need to follow directions with all medications. This product is only for short time use here and their ( if your problem is worse see a Dr)

Tums works of course… their smoothie line is much better and easier to swallow. The chalk here is well.. chalky. Not my preference but they both get the job done. The chalk one does come in a travel size so I do have them both. I have yet to see the smoothie line in travel size.

Tums ultr strength 1000 tropical fruit

These really work for heartburn, these were a godsend when I was pregnant a long time ago, it’s all I used. I still use them, definitely worth buying

Works well!

This stuff is cheap and works wonders when you have a bit of acid. The taste and consistency leaves something to be desired but not much to be done there.

Pregnancy staple

I don’t particularly like tums but during pregnancy it’s the only thing I can take for my heartburn. The fruit ones are absolutely disgusting to me. While the texture of these mint tums is not super pleasant, the flavor definitely helps and they get the job done.

Doesn’t always work!

Sometimes Tums works and sometimes it doesn’t! I don’t buy it anymore because it’s just not dependable. The flavor is ok and the price is usually reasonable.

My favorite tums

These have a great flavor and even better symptom relief! Sometimes when the heartburn gets soo bad, the white or yellow tropical ones are all I can stomach and they’re the only thing that helps, they are absolutely lifesaver for me!
