I don’t have ceiling fans, so this is a great option. It plugs into a USB port (in a plug, computer, etc) and it has 3 speeds.

We carried this to the lake with us on the pontoon boat and I'm so glad we did. We live in the south and it gets so hot and humid. This probably saved the whole day eap when they kids got hot and cranky!

My office is out on the sunporch and it gets a bit warm, so having the fan really helped to make it more comfortable while working. The fan comes with complete instructions to make for easy setup. It's adjustable for height so I am able to either have it sitting on my desk directly or place it on the floor. The fan is rechargeable and plugs directly into a USB port. When I'm done using the fan, it folds up for easy storage. I am pleased with how small it is because I am also able to take it with me while traveling or camping. Plus it's super easy for storage. I would recommend for anyone who wants an extra fan without having the bulk.

It can be used on a night stand or extend it to stand on its own. Fully extends to about 3 feet. It has a cord to charge the battery or just plug it directly into a usb plug.

My daughter uses it thr most she sleeps on the top if the bunk beds and normally is very hard to get a fan that will blow air onto her. I do wish there was a compartment to store the charging cord and also wish that it came with the block to,charge. But thus is a great fan gor all different uses.

It's specified that the fan has a rechargeable lithium battery, 3 different speeds to choose from & a maximum height of 40 inches. Plus, it's been designed to fold up when you're not using it, so it won't take up as much space in your home, office or vehicle as it would at its full size. When you want to begin using this fan, you'll have to unfold it if it hasn't been unfolded already. Before you do anything else with the fan, make sure it's balanced on its base on a flat surface, such as a table or the floor. My Foldaway Fan comes in basic white, a shade that most people find at least tolerable & 1 that looks good in a wide variety of rooms or spaces. The lithium battery that's built into each of these fans is rechargeable, and you'll receive a USB cable with each fan for charging purposes. After you recharge the battery by plugging it into a USB-compatible digital device, such as a computer, a full charge will last through up to 10 hours of fan use. The fan can cool rooms, some compact fans are only capable of cooling the immediate area around a person, with their air extending only a few feet in any direction. In order to charge your portable fan, you'll need access to a USB-compatible digital device that you can plug the charging cable into (while the other end is plugged into your fan). Right out of the box I was amazed at how small it folded up and thought about how easily it can be stored. Opening it up is easy...just pull it apart and it opens right up. You can leave it small for a desk top or table or open it up as a floor stand fan. Charging it is easy...just used my usb cable that I use for my phone. I set it up in the bedroom and it was reasonably quiet and for its size it produces a good breeze. The charge made it thru the night. Even my wife was amazed at how powerful and convenient this fan is. This fan takes up little space when folded up and can be taken anywhere. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love My Foldaway Fan. I received it about 1 ½ weeks ago and I’m so glad I got it. The fan has 3 speeds, can be used as a table or floor fan (as floor fan does stands at 40” tall as stated, I measured it), you can fold it up when not in use and best of all it’s rechargeable (it also works while it’s charging). I plug it in at night before going to bed to charge and in the morning it’s ready to use. I’ve tested it using the low and high speeds and in the low speed it lasted about 10-12 hrs. and on high speed about 4-5 hrs., so medium speed should be somewhere between 5-10 hrs. I cannot express how much this Foldaway Fan is a lifesaver, not sure if more so for me or my husband, going through hot flashes is no joke, ask my family. Now I have my own personal fan and am not freezing my hubby with the AC on high, he appreciates it too. I can now take my own fan with me when going out of town and not have to worry about inconveniencing anyone else. I definitely recommend the My Foldaway Fan, well worth the money. Its easy to charge, and easy to store. It folds up so u can store it in small spaces when not in use, or extend it out and set it up on the floor.

As an experiment, so I could see where this fan would be useful, I fully charged it and then tested. On low it ran about 10 hours. On high it ran 6-7 hours. If you wanted to use it in a place with no electric, this is what you'd get out of it. That being said, it could still be brought on an off-grid camping trip as long as you can a solar charger you could use every day to re-charge it. Recharging takes 3-4 hours, so it's not quick. However, this would be more suitable in a home or office area where you could either charge it overnight or leave it charged while running during the day. It's telescoping head makes it very versatile, and it's not top heavy--it's very secure wherever you place it. It makes a smooth, even spinning blades sound when running, so could even be used as a white noise generator at night. I like it, and it'll be a good addition to our home.

I really like the ability to adjust the height though I wish the head would tilt down a bit more. I mostly use it when Im getting dressed from a shower and in the kitchen sometimes while I’m cooking. I’ve taken it out on my front porch on hot days as well. I’ll definitely be taking it along when I travel and stay with family. I’ve used it for about 90 minutes on low and the battery didn’t die but that’s about the longest time I’ve used it at once. One negative thing is it can be top heavy and easy to tip over. Other than that it’s great.

It's all one piece so everything is right there.Very easy to set up and take down again.It's rechargeable,no batteries needed, you can even use while charging.so when you're done using it just fold up and put away. Super Great Fan.I will get lots of use out of it.

The fan was used for several hours and did not lose one bit of charge. We started off using the short table top setting on high speed and then extended the fan and set it on low speed nearby on the patio when we were ready to eat at the table. I love the variety of options and compact design that comes with this fan! We even plan to pack it in our luggage and bring it on vacation with us later this summer.
