I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The crockpot arrived with a large dent in the metal body even though it was still inside the packaging. It looks like it was either damaged before being packed or during shipping. When you buy a brand-new appliance, you expect it to arrive in perfect condition. I will be returning it.

Another cracked crock
This is my third Crock Pot, and I’ve had it the shortest amount of time. I took the crock out to give it a quick clean before using it tomorrow to make dinner and was extremely disappointed to find a crack in it. I have only had it about a year and a half and expect better. I take very good care of my crock pots. I do not subject them to extreme temp changes and always use non scratching utensils. It’s just the basic model, but I still expect better craftsmanship from this company.

Extremely to HOT! Burns everything even on low. I can not start chicken on low and leave for a hours bc it cooks in about 2 hours! I have never used the high setting, because it way to hot.

Coating bubbles and comes off too easily. Scratches easily.

model SCV700-B2 worked well for about a year, then a couple metal parts came loose inside, and clanging around. the glass lid plastic handle would never tighten properly

Feels cheap, outside gets HOT
This feels like the cheapest kitchen appliance I’ve ever touched. It has no timer, just the cheap dial of low or hot. The outside of this crock pot also gets dangerously hot. The lid fits poorly. Do yourself a favor and skip this crockpot, get the Beautiful brand crock pot from instead for the same price.

No more buying from target
The item came completely damaged. I had to give it one star otherwise I could not write a review. I am elderly disabled woman who needsto return the item. I do not have a printer to print the label and there is no way no provision that target will schedule a up even if I pay for it. The item is so completely damaged that when they receive it, they will have to throw it out. It's afire hazard one side of the actual crockpot heating unit. It smashed in like someone stepped on it, but they still want it back. I will never shop at target again. I must say their customer service person was excellent and tried veryhard to have this resolved.

It ain't what it used to be!!!
I replaced my original crockpot with the exact one because it had served me well for 30+ years but I’m extremely disappointed with the new one. The stoneware does not fit snuggly in the base and moves around a lot. In addition, the base gets extremely hot when cooking. My original got warm, perhaps very warm to the touch, but this one is scorching and could burn someone without a doubt. It almost seems as if the whole thing is missing an insulation layer. I’d return, but the box is long gone so I guess I’m out of luck.
