Q: Is this course ground coffee?

  • A: No, but it isnt fine dust either. I use it with a paper filter in my Mr Coffee maker and it tastes great. I like it very strong: I fill the paper filter to about 3/4" from top, then use 6 cups water.

    I drink ONLY Starbuck’s Sumatra Coffee, since I had my first sip. It’s the best I’ve ever had. NOTE: I’m a coffee “hound”! I can drink a cup right before going to bed and sleep like a baby. I make it strong but it’s never been bitter (which the French Roast is). Sumatra is taste perfection HANDS DOWN!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this flavor to be very smooth and just right in flavor boldness . I enjoy coffee that has bold flavor but not so overwhelming that I cant finish it due to intensity. It has no acid taste during or after which is a must for me as I prefer to drink my coffee black and dont care for acid residuals taste . It has an almost earthy rustic note to it and I found it to he absolutely delicious. #freesample

    Amazing taste

    Not as good as fresh ground

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use fresh ground coffee in reusable Kcups. Maybe because it has been a while for me, but I feel that the coffee tastes a bit stale or like a pot of coffee that has been sitting around. The Sumatra is very dark which holds up well to the soymilk I add. There is just something not fresh about it that I cannot get past. It reminds me of Dunkin', which tends to upset my stomach. #freesample

I love how dark and bold Sumatra is without tasting too bitter. The herbs and spices make it flavorful without tasting too sweet. The Sumatra K Cups are easy to make and because I am the only coffee drinker in my household they are just perfect. The aroma fills my home and I love to drink it hot, with cream, without cream, and iced.
