I add one semi-ripe banana to this recipe and a touch of cinnamon. Milk instead of water. Best muffins and quick! Add more toasted pecan bits to them with some fresh orange rind. Yum. I like to bake longer on a slightly lower heat for golden brown perfection. We eat them for a breakfast or snack.

This mix doesn't contain any bananas so the banana flavor is artificial. This causes an odd aftertaste.

Not sealed inside box
I bought two of these, because during the Covid pandemic, you don't always have banana's for muffins or bread. I went to make one a week later, the bag inside the sealed box had a tiny hole in it. I could smell the mixture inside the bag, and when I bunched up the bag itself the air inside slowly seeped out. I called in and got a refund for both boxes, thankfully Dennis understood my desire to not use the product, when it wasn't completely sealed. I miss the tiny packs, that were $1 and only needed milk or water. They were simple and tasted great. Hard to find them now, and if this is the "new and improved" idea from the company, I'm not a fan.
