Disappointing
I'm generally a fan of Uncle Ben rice products, but these Ready Rice pouches are god awful. Some of the worst rice I've probably ever had. Should also be noted this particular product isn't even rice, but pasta which makes it all the worse. Would definitely not recommend this product and find the ratings highly suspect given how terrible this is.

Odd taste, did not finish
Maybe the recipe has changed or maybe my taste has, but we recently tried this Ben's rice pilaf and found it very unpleasant. The texture was also gummy and not appealing. We discarded the second bag in our order.

Outstanding and have 5 in the cupboard!
This (to me) has a Moroccan/Middle Eastern flavor. While it's cooking I put a box of raisins in the bottom of the bowl. The rice pilaf is very hot when it comes out of the microwave. Immediately put it over the raisins. and stir. Yes, I eat the entire meal. I would cook 2 and serve it for company.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rice didn't not have no flavor. It was dry and clumped up together. The bag was easy to open and heate up in the microwave. It's good for and easy side but it had an aftertaste and I couldn't finish the rice.

The taste was ok, I prefer eating rice cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family had never tried the Ready Rice Pilaf. It was much faster prep to ready than stove rice. Directions were easy to understand and large enough to read. No messy pan to clean and constantly stir so it didn’t boil over. We already bought more! The cost is higher than stove rice but well worth the easy clean up! Rice was moist.

Easy, Tasty, but Kinda Small
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great weeknight side as it's quick and easy. Making rice from scratch takes at least 30 minutes by the time a pot boils, cook for 20, and fluff and cool for 5 minutes. And haven't even flavored it yet! But this Ready Rice takes just a few minutes and tastes great. The only thing that would be better about it, at least for our family of 4, is if there was more in the pouch. As it is, it's 2.2 oz of a side per person which just isn't enough. I'd buy again though just for the ease.
