Osem Israeli Pearl Couscous - 8.8oz

I love this couscous. I normally will buy it at other retailers where I can buy it in a larger size. But when I'm in a pinch, it's really nice to know Target has it available. I think it's really sad that there are a lot of negative reviews that are clearly rating this 1 star because of their hate for a certain country. While this country did start making couscous during a rice shortage in the 50's, couscous has been a historical part of many people who ended up in this country and also of people from other regions who have a deep connection to this country. It's part of all of our histories; it is likely to even be part of some of the negative rewviers history... but just because it is one person's doesn't make it only theirs. You don't see them spewing negative reviews on products marked Mexican beans... Just sayin' I'm honestly appalled that Target isn't flagging these or catching on, I mean the accounts are all repeating the same things, almost verbatim

this was not tasty and the texture was grainy. i did not enjoy this couscous at all.

I love Osem pearl couscous. If you cook it in broth and toss in some seasoned roasted veggies and a little olive oil, it makes the most delicious meal, that reheats really well. I do prefer the tricolor one though.

Do not buy, go get your hands on authentic couscous.

Not sure if it’s the packaging but it had a weird after taste. I have had way better.

It's great for certain recipes. Really good quality. However, the grains are big - because it's not a traditional couscous, it's called Ptitim. Marketing is misleading.

Oh please, forget this garbage and spend your money on AUTHENTIC middle eastern food.

Perfect for weeknight dinners. Seems like negative reviews made just to bash an Israeli product, such a shame.

I am so shocked by all these bad reviews. This couscous is so delicious if made right. Maybe some ppl just need to learn how to cook

Weird gummy goopy texture

Tried for the first time a year ago, really delicious and easy to make. Only wish more targets carried this. Highly recommend.

Fantastic product! We buy two boxes at a time, both my kids love it. Cooks up so fast, delicious with salt/pepper and fresh lemon. Definitely cook it with veggie or chicken broth, adds depth of flavor. Added touch would be some Romano or Parmesan cheese.

This couscous is delicious. I like to make it with chicken broth and a little Parmesan cheese and parsley. It’s also great to have on hand for one pan meals on school nights. I was wondering why all the bad reviews because this product has always been consistently good for several years. Looking at the reviews and dates, a product with the word “Israeli” in its name took a sudden turn after October 2023 without verification from any of the reviews that the project was actually even purchased.

Classic pearl couscous!so delicious so buttery yummy amazing love this couscous it’s my go to pairs well with so many things or just eaten as is! kids love it will continue to buy forever !
