Q: The milk does not get to 150 degrees Fahrenheit!! It only gets to about 110 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't know if there's something wrong with mine, but how to I make it get hotter?

A: I have found that DHA milk foamer more than regular milk. If you're using DHA milk, try a quart of regular not-dha and see if that fixes you. And clearly, stay below the max fill line, as I'm sure you are. Hope this helps!

A: You can use coffee creamers like Coffee Mate as well as milk, 1/2 & 1/2, heavy cream, whatever you like. I have used all of the above and they all turn out well.

However, we do not recommend adding matcha powder or any other ingredients directly into the frother. Perfect frother at this pricepoint
I’ve had this Bodum milk frother for a few years and it works like a charm. For those who find that they don’t get the froth they are expecting— it all depends on the milk you use. Not all milks will froth the same. I don’t drink dairy and have used this to froth literally every type of alternative milk. Barista blends typically work the best, but they have added ingredients to create the perfect latte foam. If you don’t want milks with added ingredients, I have found that Trader Joe’s organic soy milk foams beautifully, and it’s literally just soybeans and water (and a good source of protein.) Generally, almond milk doesn’t froth as well as oat or soy. For the price, this frother cannot be beat.

I don’t get why people are leaving negative reviews. It’s simple. Use it, wash it well by hand immediately after using it and let it thoroughly dry before putting the lid back on. It actually creates super fluffy froth, not bubbles like a reviewer said. Use the right milks, and you’ll get the most perfect froth. I’ve had this milk frothed for 7 years and still works perfectly. I was looking for a small gift for someone and am planning on purchasing this frother for her.

Please don't waste your money
This is my first review on a Target product. I felt compelled to share my experience to save someone from wasting their money. This is my third time buying this milk frother, and every single one has stopped working within two months or less. I purchased this frother on June 21, and it completely stopped working by August 28.

Unfortunately, not worth it
I loved that it was easy to clean and user friendly but within five to six uses it started skipping on the base and would make a horrible grinding noise. You had to take it off and set it back down a few times for it to actually start spinning. About three months in, it officially would no longer connect to the base and spin so I gave up and threw it away.

It was missing the disk. I used it with just the wisk and it overheated and turned off within 1 minute of the first use. So either it’s just bad bad or target sold me a previously returned one.

worked well for LESS than a year
I loved this when I first got it. Used it at most 3 times a week and it stopped working after about 10 months and then just completely stopped doing anything. Meh on the function - ok frothing and heating. Terrible to clean. Always milk in the bottom, whether I soak or rinse or whatever. So annoying. Difficult even to get out with a soft brush. Not a good design.

While the interior is non-stick coated, and the device has a boil-dry protection function, it is still possible for milk and foam residue to become cooked on if the device reheats repeatedly. The frother has an automatic reheating function that will reheat any remaining milk if the temperature drops below 120°F. If a small amount of milk or foam is left in the frother after its first use, and the frother is left on, the remainder under the MIN line can get cooked on and become hard to remove. To avoid this, we recommend always turning the device off after use. Additionally, ensure the device is always filled past the MIN line and rinse it out immediately after use to prevent milk and foam from drying onto the interior. not the best
not my favorite brother and will not buy again. purchased one and it quit on my very fast. was able to return and got another. that one has lasted but i really hate the reheat feature. if you forget to switch it off it will turn on and froth again when cooled even if there is not liquid burning the bottom of the container. i’ve had other brothers and they have never done that. fine it very irritating and will not be purchasing again.
