Terrible packaging!! Pain to open or try to store once opened.

It’s tasteless and mixes well in hot coffee. Haven’t taken it long enough to see a difference. Only downside is it takes 3tbsp for one serving a day so it goes fast. Since I take collagen daily this didn’t even last me a month.

I have been using this for 3 months now. As a conscious, non selfish human, I am greatly happy with new packaging. It was such a heart ache to get one more product that I use regularly and have a huge plastic packaging each time. I have no idea how people manage to mess the opening instructions up; brand has such a straight forward and clear instructions to open it up and once it’s open, you can just use it even easier than the plastic one. Unbelievable to me that people asks for plastic one back just because they don’t want to put a little effort - like really little - to figure things out. No issue with using two hands because, come on, if you have both, you as well can take that 2 seconds to twist the lid of the plastic one. But I literally can open the paper one with my hand. I also don’t understand how this is harder to store as it’s literally the same size as the plastic one. I am super happy! Great brand move towards conscious consumption. BUT I also have some concerns and as a non-long term purchaser I am a little lost; I wish to get some support on this point. This is my second package. First one was the plastic one and the color was slightly clearer. And when mixed with hot water and whisked, it would become transparent. And would not smell or taste. This time it has more yellowish color, it smells - and changes the taste of my coffee while still being unflavored - and when I whisk, it’s not transparent, it looks milky. So as a fan of transparency and scientific responses, I’d love to know why all these things are different in this product. I literally feel like I am making my coffee with bone broth. Not cool. And doubt will continue to buy despite good results cause it’s incredibly unpleasant.

They have taken “vital” ingredients out of their formulas. Read an old label vs. the new paper packaged ones.

3 stars because the collagen itself is fine but what in the world, you can’t sell a powder without a scoop!? I am mind blown that this collagen does not come with a portioned scoop. I will NEVER go with this collagen again regardless if the product itself is good, it is outrageously unreasonable to sell without a scoop.

Hi Vital! Does the advanced formula have the same amino acid profile as the original formula? I don’t see it on the label. I have been loving Vital Proteins for almost ten years now.

I like the product. I HATE YOUR NEW PACKAGING. WE HAVE TRIED TWICE TO OPEN YOUR NEW PACKAGING. SO GLAD I KEPT MY ORGAIN CONTAINER SO I COULD DUMP YOUR PRODUCT INTO THAT CONTAINER. GO BACK TO WHAT WORKED!! I WON'T TRY YOURS AGAIN!!

Thank you for making the switch to less (almost no) plastic packaging!! I hope other companies take notice and will do the same. Now I can enjoy a product that I really like. Thank you

The new paper packaging is terrible! Please go back to the plastic. I had to use pliers to open the tab because it ripped and the lid doesn’t easily close. What a nuisance. Other than that, I love the actual product. It dissolves effortlessly, no taste, and works!

First time using the collagen peptides Advanced only to be disgusted and disappointed when I got to the bottom of the container that there were some stuff in there that doesn’t belong in there

I can't even open the newly designed container! Need better directions.

I totally agree with the many reviews that the cardboard packaging is not user friendly and should be redesigned.

I really enjoyed this powder. I used it in my morning coffee, splitting the dose between 2 cups that I drink every morning. It mixes very well with hot liquid. It is kinda cool watching it dissolve. My hair and nails are much better, and I feel better after only using 1 large plastic tub. My only complaint was that I would get a small stomachache, but I am not sure this was the cause. I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. I WILL STICK WITH THE REGULAR COLLAGEN PEPTIDES FROM VITAL.

Stuff is amazing it’s helped me gained a healthier body all around, it’s also help promote many other benefits that I haven’t even thought of and just enjoy the feeling it provides, plus Since I skateboard daily I tend to throw myself into danger and turn out the healing process much faster!

Started taking VP in my 50’s and with daily use it has made a huge difference in my skin. If I stop taking the collagen the elasticity in my skin is quite diminished. Tried many top rated brands of collagen but never the apparent results I get with VP.

I have no problem at all opening the new container (it helps to read the directions FIRST) and I kept the scooper from the former container. Love this product and it seems to have helped my bone density in the past year that I've been using it. I stock up anytime it is on sale.

The unflavor does have a bit of a flavor..I hide it in coffee abd then it was fine. Love the extra protien it gives you.

Great product, terrible packaging! First you take the scoop now you sell a cardboard tube impossible to open?! Why didn’t you just raise the price on the plastic container, then sell an EASY TO OPEN refill option at a lower cost?? Terrible choice.

Why has the recommended daily amount gone up and the sizing of your product containers not changed? Did you add a filler? I’m considering other options.
