Weird brush

Thought it was defective at first, but their top coat has the same brush. Weird. I’ll continue using it but unlikely to get another when it runs out.

Strengthening Base Coat

It helps to protect your nails from polishes that stain (hello red and blue, looking at you) And also reduces the appearance of ridges to help polish go on smoother. The strengthening ability of this base Coat is the icing on the cake. I've tried tons of base coats and I'm really enjoying this one. The brush is the perfect size and it's easy to apply. I used it on my own nails as well as my daughter's nails.

Strengthened Nails

My nails are really weak, partly from genetics and partly from bad habits. Because of this, my nail polish chips off the third or second day after I paint my nails. After using this base coat, My nail polish lasted almost a week before chipping, and my nails bent less in general. This is a great buy if you're looking to strengthen your nails or just make you nail polish last longer!

The worst. Makes nails chip the next day.

It makes my nail polish start chipping the day after I do it, and that's using other Sally Hansen products with it. Normally I use the Sally Hansen Pure hardener and the Pure top coat and it's 4 or 5 days until it chips. Doing my nails takes way too much time for them to start chipping the next day. You'll notice that only four of the now $179 reviews are verified purchases. The rest are promotional. I always filter those out for a true picture.

I've always been a FAN!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this base when I gave myself a nice mani pedi....went with the Frenchie design....it came out FLAWLESS!!....I'm not nail tech just blessed with decent skills to make the job look good! I was not disappointed....my pedi actually lasted longer than 2 weeks....I purposely waited to see how long it would be before there was chipping. My nails lasted 3 whole weeks!! Definitely recommend

Great Base Coat

I have pretty strong nails to begin with so I'm not upset about that. Between this and the top coat my polish lasted a solid week. I definitely will continue to use.
