Description

Create a firm and supportive sleeping surface for infants and toddlers with the Sealy Signature Precious Rest Waterproof Crib Mattress. For superior support and durability, this baby mattress features 120 interwoven steel coils that are heat-tempered for long-lasting strength for firmness. A full perimeter border wire provides added structure to keep the edges and corners of the mattress firm. Thick, hypoallergenic cushioning offers additional comfort and support for newborns, infants and toddlers alike. To help create a sanitary sleeping environment for baby, this mattress features a reinforced waterproof cover that easily wipes clean plus waterproof lock stitched binding to prevent moisture from seeping inside the mattress core. An airflow pocket allows the mattress to breathe, keeping it fresh without the use of small metal vents. The Sealy Precious Rest Infant and Toddler Mattress is designed to snuggly fit USA standard full-size cribs and toddler bed frames. This mattress passes safety, quality and chemical testing to ensure baby is safe and sound on a Sealy, plus the entire mattress is GREENGUARD Gold Certified for low chemical emissions to help create a healthier nursery for baby.

I bought this as a dog bed because it’s cheaper than buying a dog bed with equivalent support. My dogs are 80 and 100 lbs so I don’t know how long it will last but it’s got good support, delivered quickly, and was reasonably priced.

Small; Did Not Meet Safety Standards in Our Crib

Bought this for my Jenny Lind by DaVinci crib. Firmness was what it should be, material is definitely waterproof, but unfortunately it did not meet the measurements needed for safe sleep in our Jenny Lind Davinci crib. Full inch gap between corners of crib and corners of mattress when requirements is 1/2 inch. I don't think the roundness of the corners helps. Not Target's fault, but manufacturer should bump up the size so it'll fit better. Might be okay in a smaller crib, but I'm unsure.

Hi! Crib dimensions are dictated by ASTM and Federal Law and must have interior dimensions of 28″ x 52 3/8″ (plus or minus 5/8″ wide and plus or minus 5/8″ long). The inside of your crib should measure between 27 3/8″ — 28 5/8″ wide and 51 ¾” — 53″ long. Mattresses are designed to be slightly smaller to allow them to fit within these tolerances. Minimum crib mattress dimensions are 27 1/4″ x 51 5/8″ and no more than 6″ thick. A 1 and 1/4″ gap between the interior of the crib side and crib mattress is acceptable. This matteress is great for the price! It's a little loud when using just a bedsheet but I use a matteress protector which goes under the bedsheet that makes it totally quiet. Nice and firm for baby. It's good quality and I expect it to last a long time!

Too big for standard crib fitted sheets.

The mattress itself is wonderful. We got it to replace our old crib/toddler mattress that had cracked waterproofing. However, none of our crib/toddler sheets fit this. It seems to be bigger than our other mattress or the standard crib/toddler fitted sheets and I have to bend the mattress to try to get the sheet on and it doesn't fully fit on.
