Q: I just installed it. How the heck do you lower and raise the shade?? It’s fixed in position unless I manually roll and unroll it from the top. Not good.

Q: Are the measurements for these listed as length by width? Typically they would be measured as width by length. Confusing!

  • A: Sorry for the confusion. Different people and countries look at these measurements differently. Typically all the “length” or “drop sizes” are the same; in this case; 72 Inches (L) is Length size. All the other available sizes are the Blind/Shade Width size in Inches. Hope that is clear.

    Not taupe at all

    Bought these for my room in white and really liked it so I thought I’d order it in the taupe for my daughters room and the color is not taupe it’s a gray color. Very disappointed

    Stay away

    This is probably the lowest-quality window shade ever to grace the face of planet Earth. I wasted three hours of my life trying to put this up, and finally realized the product was defective. I ordered a replacement and the replacement was defective as well. I eventually just gave up and now the morning light wakes me up every day. But honestly, I'd take no window shade over this product. Please just spend a little bit more money and get a higher-quality window shade.

    Instructions Are Make Or Break But I Got Ya!

    The directions for installation were pretty terrible. I messed up a few of my blinds by trying to drill with the blinds attached since I didn’t know there was a flap to place the rod into the brackets. I would recommend ordering 1 inch less than what you measured, so that the blinds can fit properly. The quality overall is great and they’re sleek/modern.

    Blocks light, installation instructions could be better

    Instructions are very vague and not very helpful, but once we got these up they do a pretty good job of blocking light. Overall, construction seems a bit cheap but it does get the job done - just be prepared for install to be a bit frustrating.

    Doesn't roll up all the way

    I like the shade for blocking light and it will roll up about half way up on the window where the window locks are. However, it doesn't easily retract further for more light, which is sort of a big downfall.

    Excellent light blocker for bedroom

    California sun can be very hot and very bright even in early morning. I find it really hard to sleep in. This shade is excellent to block out sunlight in my bedroom. I use outside mounting so the fabric completely cover up both sides of the window frame and very little light leaks through. Very happy with the purchase, I can sleep in as long as I like on weekend. :)

    New and different roller shade

    The slow release on this shade surprised me but I decided I really like it. There's none of the drama that you usually get with shades: wondering will it snap up and loose the tension. You start it and walk away, it does the rest. There is a positive stop so it can't go past the top. The brackets are plastic, but pretty heavy so it seems like they will hold up. Clear instructions.
