So far so good. Easy to assemble, works great. Remote battery replacement impossible.
So far seems to work great, assembly was super easy, looks nice, works as described. I would say, however, the colored lights are not aa bright/strong as shown. Also, it does include a remote with battery, however, when I went to tey to open the remote to see what size should it be missing/need replacement, the batter compartment is IMPOSSIBLE to open (even after reading instructions), completely split my nail. There is no way I'll ever be able to open it to replace the battery without having to destroy the remote first. Any tips.on how to open the remote battery compartment?

Best fan I own - really cools you off
This tall, powerful tower fan is my favorite because it cools better than fans I've spent much more on. I only have fans, no AC so I really appreciate this superior fan. It has multiple modes and speeds plus the remote is very convenient. Holmes stands behind it with a 3 year warranty. My only complaint is that it took about 2 weeks to arrive but it was worth the wait-- highly recommend this quality fan.

Cant clean well
Not easy to clean internal ridges or blades so it expels black dust as a result cause respiratory-related issues.

Please follow the Fan Cleaning steps on the Instruction Manual, after following them you could use a vacuum on LOW setting to complete the cleaning, please make sure the fan is unplugged before cleaning. FAN CLEANING • Always unplug the fan before cleaning. • Do not allow water to drip on or enter into fan housing. • Be sure to use a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap solution. • Do not use gasoline, thinner or benzene as a cleaner. • Clean the fan grill, housing and base with a soft, damp cloth. Do not attempt to remove the fan blade. Please use caution around the motor housing area. Do not allow the motor or other electrical components to be exposed to water. I honestly love this fan! It’s not loud at all unless you put it on mode 5 then it sounds like a normal fan I think it feels so refreshing and great! I would say the only thing I didn’t like was the little light lol it’s not bright at all like I was thinking it would be but besides that it’s honestly great! I especially love the little remote it comes with I keep it under my pillow😂

We use it in our back sun room when it gets warm and this does a wonderful job at cooling down a medium sized room. It’s easy to use and convenient, the only thing I dont like is that the base comes off so easily and when I try move it, it almost falls over every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Holmes 42'' Digital Tower Fan. It works great. I like the easy to read digital display. I like that it is oscillating. We set it near our pellet stove and use it to blow the heat outward and towards the other rooms. It will be nice in the summer too for keeping our house nice and cool. The light is nice for night time. This Holmes fan definitely gets the job done. It comes with several settings. It also comes with a remote as well and a spot to leave it when not in use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice oscillating fan with improved features.

You can control literally everything from the flow to cool level.. it actually blows cool air and the sound and strength can either be silent or very powerful depending on how you like it! The air easily hits me no matter what position I am in without having to move it. I love that it has a light in the back and a place to grip it if you do have to pick it up. It has different speeds and oscillates with the press of a button. I do prefer the buttons instead of a dial like some other fans have. I love how quiet it is and how sleek it looks in my house. Would definitely recommend this fan. Great quality.

Its still cold here, but i was able to use this fan recently to cool off in kitchen after cooking with oven on. This fan is way more powerful than i could have expected! Its sleek design easy to fit any space and easy to use and has multiple settings for use. I highly recommend this Holmes Tower fan if this is the type of fan set up you like. Big plus that it s programmable and comes with a remote! This fan will be keeping me cool in these summer months ahead!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this fan as it seems like it offers more direct coolness due to the span of the fan. It does put out good cool air, but it is also unstable. I plugged it in when I first got it to test it out. When I went to unplug it, it tipped over. Anything over level 1 is also pretty loud. As I was looking it up online, I noticed that the fan in the picture has a base, which was not included in mine. That certainly explains why it is not stable, but I am not sure if that explains why it is so loud.

Outstanding and even cooling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for the main living room of our house. It's about 450 ft with a 14 ft ceiling. This helped move the air, cool the air and evenly distributed throughout the square footage. Super easy to use, assembly was easy as well. It is not noisy either. I like the easy to read LED display and the accent light is unique. Comes in handy when you leave it on at night. Would highly recommend
