  • A: 1 cup water 1/3 cup vegetable oil 3 eggs However, I have previously used milk instead of water and an extra egg for the strawberry cake mix to make a more moist cake. I will be trying with this cake.

Betty Crocker makes my favorite chocolate cake mix and it is moist and always bakes up easily and comes out of the pan easily. This year I added a bit of coffee liquor to the mix to give the cake a little zing. Sometimes I add a bit of sour cream as well. Price was good and Halloween candy corn cake was a hit.
