  • A: I don’t want to ruffle an feathers with my response, especially since a ninja expert responded, but I did a little research into if you could use the ninja sizzle as a hibachi and I have seen 3 videos now posted by ninja itself using this for hibachi. I don’t believe they would post those videos advertising that if you couldn’t use it for that purpose. But I am not an expert just a curious person who is doing some research! If you are curious yourself I saw the videos on tik tok, Instagram, and Facebook.

    Best thing I've owned

    This is honestly the best purchase of 2026 for me. It heats up evenly and the interchangeable tops are super easy to clean, and they hold heat really well. This has been a game changer for me for my meal prepping, it's big enough to easily grill up a a large batch of protein all at once without making a huge mess. My favorite thing is using the grill top to make my chicken breasts and it gives them the perfect grill marks. I have an outdoor charcoal grill but that requires a lot of effort if I only want to grill a couple of things, this is the perfect gadget for when I want to grill but don't want to set up the charcoal. I can't rave about this enough, I've made chicken breast and chicken thighs, pancakes, veggies, and clean up is so easy.

    I Really Like It!!

    Don't let the pictures fool you, this thing holds a lot of food!! I was able to cook an entire plank of salmon on the grill. It does not cook from the top, so you will need to flip the food (which I do on my other Ninja grills anyway) but it cooks fast and even.

    We love our sizzle

    This item is great for beginning cooks and even seasoned cooks. I live in IL and just when you take burgers out of the freezer it will snow in the next hour. This helps me eat what I want to eat no matter the weather. This is an great product from cooking burgers to steak to pancakes and eggs. If you need a grill it can be a grill, or if you need a flattop griddle change out the plates and there you have it. It does hold down 80% of the grease, but it can get a little messy. I just cover my counter with tin foil and when done fold it up for the next time. Burger and pork chops so far have turned out very nice. I will say I got my son this for Christmas and he likes it so much we had to get one for ourselves. If my adult unmarried 28 yr old son loves this well I had to get it. He just got engaged and moving in with future wife. She has been told his sizzle is coming with him. He is not allowed to bring a lot, but this sizzle was not an option to leave behind. If I would have known he was going to get engaged and moving 8 hours away I would have purchased the big sizzle for him and taken his I gave him for Christmas. This sizzle gets warm fast and stays at the temp you want. Keeping the sizzle at a good temp is what makes it good. It doesn't cool down when I put food on it and it continues to cook even for me. Bonus being able to put the top screen in dishwasher. My son also put the grates in the dishwasher and has had no issues. His apartment has a 1970's old yellow dishwasher, I am not trying that in my new dishwasher. It is very easy to clean the base anyway. Nice cooker to help us make it through the winter.

    If only more durable...

    Great concept, but .... Works well ... until the finish on the plates starts to wear, which for me, was very fast. The durability of the ceramic-type coating does not last and then frying even an egg becomes an ordeal--have to scrape it off with a spatula. Ninja should work on their finish. Were it not for the very fast wear, I would have given this 5 stars. Hopefully, future iterations will improve in quality.
