Mucinex Fast-Max Kickstart Adult Liquid Cold & Flu Treatment - 6oz: 1-Pack, With Acetaminophen

I do not get sick very often however when I do it always seems to hit hard. My go to meds are usually Mucinex. I had never tried the Kick Start one until yesterday. It works good and I am able to function to some degree after taking it. I have noticed it lasts until and if not a little more than the next dose directed time frame. It has allowed me to rest and sleep through the severe symptoms prior to taking it I couldn't do either.

i hate that phenylephrine has been proven ineffective orally and is still put on bottles of medicine like it is - total SCAM

I got this because I know liquid works faster than pills and it taste horrible but works great! Mom always said if it taste bad it usually works wonders

Got this for my mom, who had a viral infection. Nothing else was really working for her that she got from the doctor in fact she started feeling worse, so went out and bought this, and it started to work immediately she definitely sounded much better the next morning. Would get this again!

The berry flavor is nice and it's not too difficult to get down. It's a good value for the price, and it really gets the job done. I felt better quickly after using it.

I normally just get the mucinex gel capsules when I am sick. But I decided to try this because I heard the liquid is more effective. This tastes and feels like mouthwash in your mouth. It is the worst thing I have ever taken. It has made me want to throw up. I have only taken it twice but haven't noticed any difference in my cough either. I would not buy this again. I am not sure how their other liquid cough medicines compare but this makes me afraid to try them

I feel it working. The menthol makes me feel like I’m breathing more freely. I prefer the menthol flavor. It masks the bitter taste of the medicine.

This stuff tastes awful and I don't think it actually help with anything. I felt exactly the same whether or not I took it.

So to be honest, I don’t know if it works or not —yet, and I don’t care if it does!!! I will NEVER take another dose of that EVER again. I always laugh when people say medicine tastes bad, obviously, it tastes bad—it’s medicine. I’ve never cared what it taste like…as long as it worked. THIS is another story. I took one 20 mL dose as directed. Right away it tasted awful, but I was expecting that. What followed I was NOT EXPECTING! I got an immediate chill, then about 10 seconds later, I started sweating and my stomach started to hurt terribly, I felt very nauseous I got that watery feeling you get when you feel like you’re going to throw up, my head started throbbing, then about 2 minutes later, I had to run to the bathroom. I have no idea what is happening? It’s been 10 minutes since I took it and I’m still burping up that minty chalky taste, which is making me feel nauseous all over again. This is one experience I could’ve done without. Hopefully all this goes away soon. I feel 10 times worse after taking one dose than I did before I took it. I only took it due to chest congestion, (needed an expectorant) coughing, and sinus headache. Again, it’s not been long enough to know if it works, but even if it does, nothing is worth feeling like I feel right now. I’d take my original symptoms any day over what I’m feeling at this moment. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I guess, Be careful! Idk?

It's awful. Not only did it barely help with my symptoms but the taste is awful. It feels like you are swallowing chemicals, I could barely drink one dose without gagging.
