Duncan Hines Dolly Parton Blueberry Muffin Mix - 17.83oz

I have never used mixes but my daughter taught me to join the younger crowd. I have used Dolly Parton’s blueberry mix this morning and I am enchanted with the ease of the preparation and the delicious results. I mistakenly put together the flour and the topping but it worked out nevertheless. At 81 reading directions too fast can be forgiven I hope! Great value, thank you Dolly!

These are good blueberry muffins. Not bad, not the greatest. A half cup of melted butter was a little excessive, and it showed in the cup liners and puddled under the liners in the pan. And personally, I would have preferred canned blueberries to the dried blueberries in this mix. They stayed a little dry. Topping I loved. Muffins were good, but I wouldn’t buy this brand again. Sorry Dolly (I still love you).

I liked the old product with the blueberries in a can so that the muffin looks like it has actual blueberries. The old mix also had a dry crumble that you sprinkled on top without adding butter. The product looks like a baked blob. Not appealing nor tasty.

This mix tastes like you went to a high end bakery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admittedly never bake, so I was going into this at a very basic level! Luckily, I had no issues baking these tasty little muffins. I don’t have a hand mixer or a whisk but I was able to easy mix the batter with a fork. I did forget to put the strudel topping on before I started baking… but was able to get it added about 3 minutes in to baking. It wasn’t ideal but nothing tasted off. Maybe they wouldn’t have fell so flat? Either way, they may not look pretty but they taste great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off I'll say that I am by no means a healthy eating snob; I eat a lot of crap. With that being said, I like to choose my crap carefully. These have a bunch of risky additives in them on top of the obvious sugar content. And unfortunately, they didn't taste great. The texture is just not very rich and they're a little dry.

It's moist really tasty easy to make definitely buying g again

I bought today, made the muffins- not good. Blueberries are not in a can , they are dried and in the mix - they are also dried and hard in the finished muffins. The recipe calls for more butter than a human should have per day. The best muffins to me are the Duncan Heinz Simple mornings- which are no longer available in my area since the Dolly Parton ones replaced them.

They tasted homemade if you didn’t know they were from a package. If I had to say though, I’d probably make the muffins instead of the bread!

The muffins are easy to make and easy directions to follow, I love the streusel topping that's included. I was so excited while they were baking because they smell so good and there are actual little blueberries in it.

These are delicious, however, high altitude directions should be added to the box. I'm knowledgeable enough to have fixed them the second time I made them. 1/4 cup flour is necessary to keep them from falling flat above 3,800ft.

These taste amazing! They taste fresh and crisp. Not too sweet or too heavy.

We bought this hoping it would be like the bakery style that you can not get anymore- disappointed and don’t get me started on the calories for one muffin. Dried blueberries in the mix- yuck- Mr. Hines would be disappointed too
