Why the Palm Oil ? I see that flaxseed is good. And peanuts, well, pretty good for you. Then palm oil is added. Not so good.

Sensory safe delicious and OUT OF STOCK
I bought this for the inclusion of flaxseed and I fell in love. As an autistic person I've never found a peanut butter that is sensory safe and delicious for me, until this. Now it's out of stock everywhere and I'm terrified they won't make it anymore.

Love It: It's Better Without Agave!
There are a lot of 1-star reviews on here from people who are upset about the change from agave to sugar as a sweetener. Unfortunately, they seem to be ignorant of many studies in recent years that have knocked agave off the throne of healthy sugar substitutes. People who are closely managing blood glucose should avoid agave. The high fructose content can reduce insulin sensitivity and may worsen liver health. Agave is also a higher-calorie sweetener than table sugar. Agave syrup is much higher in fructose than plain sugar, it has greater potential to cause adverse health effects, such as increased belly fat and fatty liver disease. More recent studies indicate Allulose might be an significantly better alternative sweetener but this is still leading edge research at this time.

I buy this in large quantities for my husband. I had not noticed until now that it is no longer sweetened with agave. Big disappointment for me!!!

For all the reviews on here regarding the loss of Agave, as if that were some high nutrition safe ingredient, I want to tell you, you are wrong. Sugar is actually better for you, in moderation. From Google: "Agave is not a healthful replacement for table sugar. Especially for people who are closely managing blood glucose, agave should be avoided. Disappointing…
This used to be the absolute best peanut butter everrr, with agave… We used to stock up on it, whenever it wasn’t sold out. Now it no longer exists… Veryyy disappointing… Please bring it back!!!!!!

I wouldn't buy this anymore
So unhappy with the change in the recipe. I used to go out of my way to find this. I have completely lost interest now. How long before you start using high fructose corn syrup? Think how you could save even more money. Sigh...

Dissapointed
I agree with a lot of the reviewers on here we exclusively bought this peanut butter, but with the change it just is disappointing. The texture, sugar, and taste are off. Please go back to the OG or add this as another product.

No Agave
Hello, this product isn't sweetened with agave, it has sugar. You are still advertising it as agave. Do you not realize it says this up above?... "We roast and grind our peanuts to perfection and then add flaxseed for ALA omega-3s. Agave syrup adds a kiss of sweetness and expeller-pressed oils create no-stir results."

Sneaky Recipe Change
It is shocking to me that a company boasting health would quietly shift from using agave to sugar. I don’t keep anything with added sugar in my home. I purchased this using a grocery delivery service that still had that old recipe listed for the ingredients. I will no longer be using Earth Balance products.

Disappointing Recipe Change & Healthy PB Search On
I don't know when the recipe changed, but I am so sad and disappointed that another thing in life has changed ingredients, quality, and flavor. I have agave syrup...do you need some? I literally went to the jar to check the ingredients because it didn't taste as good as it used to. I want your reply to state that you are going back to the old recipe!

Good flavor but very oily.
This peanut butter used to be perfect. It used to be creamy (like the jar says) and without a puddle of oil on the top. Now it's an oily mess and the butter is soupy. You can't put it on crackers without getting it everywhere and you can barely get it to stay on bread that will turn soggy. Other brands are oily and that is what led me to find this one about a decade ago. I guess I will have to begin a new search.

Shame
What a shame about the new formula. At first, we thought we got a bad batch. After the second one, I researched it and found out all of the differences. We really dislike this version as it has nothing left that we used to love. The consistency is totally weird (1.5 inches of oil on top which takes much effort to mix and begin to use). We had used this exclusively for many years, but wont buy it again unless it goes back to the old formula.
