A: To clean the OZI42DC we recommend a vacuum with a brush attachment to vacuum out any dust buildup. Compressed air can also be used to blow any stubborn dust buildup out of the unit. The outside can be wiped down with a soft cloth.

The ONLY fans we buy is VORNADO because they are air circulator's not a regular fan. This model is very quiet, it's tall, covers a large area of our familyroom and love the occilating feature. It really circulates the air and we love the digital number setting, which determines the amount of air it moves, how fast it goes. Great item for a great price at Target!

Very Pleased
I did a fair amount of research before deciding on this item. I was in the market for a tower fan with a narrow profile that could be placed in different locations around the house. The features are perfect for our needs - oscillation, 1-12 hr. timer options, quiet operation, remote - so we are satisfied with the OZI42DC and would overall recommend it to others who are looking for same/similar features. One slight modification suggestion I would make to the design team would be to make a feature to dock the remote on the body of the tower as an option to keep it from being lost. The remote is rather small, and a convenience like a slot, notch, or hook would be another great feature to have.

Impressive fan speed control
I love the way you can gradually adjust the fan speed from a barely noticable breeze to a gale force wind over a span of 99 steps. The touch control is great, albeit a bit touchy (no pun intended). At the lower speeds the sound level is barely noticable. Noise level at the higher speeds is the same as a typical fan, but seems to have a more gentle sound to it.

Makes battling summer temps a breeze!

As a millennial who cannot be left alone with their own thoughts for too long, the white noise this provides at night is heavenly second only to power of the breeze it provides. We have a newborn in the house and want to make sure while she’s in our room that we regulate temp as much as possible, and this helps a ton. I love the remote feature! In the middle of the night when I want to crank it up a bit more, I don’t have to get out of bed to do so. Vornado has always been my go to for desks fans, but this was my first foray into their line of tower fans and I’m glad I’m here. It’s awesome. Now to get one for the other bedroom!

Nice fan
I bought this fan about a month ago. It has helped to keep my kitchen/dining room cooler, my reason for buying the fan. It is large; so it was not easy finding a perfect spot for it, but I finally did. So far, I have run the fan at 65 and have about 30 velocity more settings. I have a Vornado circulating fan in another corner of my kitchen/dining room which has run for several years without ever being turned off. Between the two, my kitchen has not been hot...yet. Summer will tell.

this oscillating tower takes up no room & spreads a noticeable amount of air. It's still Spring in my neighborhood & more than once I've turned the oscillating circulator down, way down. I'm sure it has me covered in the dog days of Summer

Best Fan I’ve ever had.

It is powerful and gives off cool air even in a hot room. Ot goes from speed of 1 to a speed of 99 which will blow things away. The remote control is a huge plus, so I don’t have to get up every time I want to change something. I recommend this fan to anyone who needs a good, powerful fan.
