Q: How much caffeine is in this product?
submitted by Curious Kel - 3 months ago
A: A typical cup of Death Wish Coffee contains about 165 mg of caffeine (confirmed by an independent lab)—but actual caffeine levels may vary depending on brew method, brew ratio, and crop-to-crop variability. We recommend 2.5 tablespoons of coffee for every 6 fluid ounces of water for a brew that will get you out of your skull and into the daily grind.

I bought the Light Roast Beans, Fudge Hazelnut and the Coconut! I'm pretty sure I am not going to be the same after experiencing the freshness and flavor of DeathWish Coffe.

After drinking only dark roasts, mainly because I had assumed it would have the most caffeine, I decided to try this after hearing that that wasn't the case. I was afraid it might taste very weak but the flavor did not disappoint.
Excellent coffee!

I used to be a "dark roast all of the time" kinda guy until...well, you know, G-E-R-D lol. The Death Wish Coffee Light Roast (ground) makes the perfect pour-over cup of strong high-energy java minus the acid reflux. Yup, y'all of a certain age know EXACTLY what I've talking about!

Company gets 5* as always..this coffee gets a 1* for me..so lets settle in the middle.Been drinking Death Wish almost since they started (BEANS ONLY)..Im a 1 cup in the AM kind of guy and original bean was for me when working..great jolt in the AM...since i retired been using the Valhalla for years and love it..perfect blend of flavor and light jolt...Looked forward to this light bean,so when subscription was due figured id try 2 bags...halfway thru 1st bag and i miss my Valhalla..This light bean just has no flavor in my opinion....I grind fresh and brew a double shot in my Siliva expresso machine..use 1 shot of milk...and its just blan..maybe its me..but cant wait to finish and order the Valhalla again.

Since around 2017 Death Wish dark roast had a permanent place within my kitchen. However over the last few years my taste has migrated to the Espresso blend, and finally settled on the Medium Roast. I enjoy the lessened bitterness of a lighter roast, allowing a bit of sweetness through and offering a better balance of flavor in every cup. I've already converted several friends and coworkers over to it, and can wholeheartedly endorse Medium Roast.
Good, but not their best

Not sure I have every had light roast before (I am a Dark Roast drinker - DW dark roast and the expresso blend) and am not a fan of the regular medium roast (but really liked the DW Colombian blend when they had it). Anyway, decided to give the Light Roast a try - really good! Definitely has a distinctive flavor that I like - and nothing like the medium roast. Will not be giving up on the Dark Roast or Expresso - but will be adding this to my coffee rotation.
