Changed texture and ingredients

The product ingredients and texture has changed. I began using because of the ultra thick texture but now it has changed to the thinner texture of the regular moisturizing cream. In addition I notice a slight change in the ingredients. Citric acid is no longer listed.

Best product for dry skin

It burns!

I’ve used the moisturizing cream with no issues. When I couldn’t find it in the store, I bought the intensive Moisturizing Cream thinking it would be the same. This cream causes burning and stinging sensations that had me clawing at my skin. I quit using it but tried it again one day, same sensation. I can’t use this product for some reason. It’s very expensive to not be able to use it. Very disappointed!

I bought this and I guess it’s my fault for not being 100% certain but once I got home I realized the seal had broken and there were fingerprints in the moisturizer as if someone had used it in the store.

If I could give this zero stars I would! This product is absolutely terrible. I have never, ever had my skin burn and itch so bad. I feel like my legs are on fire! I even combined with another lotion and that didn't help. At first I thought my skin was SO dry and that's why it felt itching and burning. But after multiple tries it's not stopping. I had to go shower off my legs cause it was so bad. Please do not get!

Makes me super itchy

I used it on my entire body and I felt soft and liked the initial feel, BUT I was up all night itching. And it is now the following night and I am still itchy even after showering it off

Rich in texture

My saving grace

I swear by CeraVe Intensive Moisturizer! I literally keep it next to my bed for easiest access when my hands feel dry. It helps with my eczema, don’t feel too thick, and absorbs into my skin pretty quickly. I have purchased this more than once already, and it is something I will always go back to.

Unable to recommend Intensive Moisturizing Cream

I have used Cerave Moisturizing Cream for years and have loved the product. Recently I inadvertently purchased Cerave Intensive Moisturizing Cream. After using it, I’m still itching 24 hours later. I had to apply ice pads to my face in the middle of the night to relieve the burning and itching. My face is still red after 48 hours.

Great for the face, too!

CeraVe Intensive Moisturizing Cream has become a surprisingly great moisturizer for me - even compared to high-end creams. I use it mostly in my cheeks, forehead and neckline, and very sparingly on my t-zone. The balance works perfectly. It gives great hydration where I need it without making my skin feel greasy or heavy. The texture is thick but it absorbs well when used in small amounts. It doesn’t just sit on my skin like some richer creams I’ve tried - it actually sinks in and leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable. Primer friendly! The 5% hydro-urea really helps with smoothing and dryness, especially on areas that tend to get rough or dehydrated. I’ve used luxury creams like Orchidee Imperiale and this honestly performs better for my skin in terms of absorption and real hydration. And of course it’s great for the body so it’s a very versatile product to have on hand.

Burns skin

Cerave has been my go to for years, but this product is horrible. It makes my familys skin burn if I use it I have to put the tiniest bit on and it still it’s burning my skin. I got it for 599 on Clarence and I see why They marked it down.

Application is easy and goes on smooth. Keeps the dry cracked hands feeling smooth and no longer cracked. CeraVe is an amazing moisturizer and a go to in our home!

It works!

Been searching for a cream that could help my dry hands and i finally found one I love. I wash my hands a lot at work and also work in a cooler so they get very chapped. This is very moisturizing thick anf creamy but not too thick and non greasy, soaks in and my hands stay soft the whole day. I bought the large tub and it will last a long time.

Incredible

I am half way the tube and I am really impressed with this cream. It absorbs really quick and well, but it does not leave your skin greasy. It has good ingridients and it helped me a lot during this Midwest winter, will be rebuying.

Products is highly allergenic proven by my results

I have pictures of welts on my arms from using Cerave Intensive Moisturizing Cream. Still itching almost 24 hours later. I have used Cerave cream in the past, but not the Intensive Moisturizing Cream. this is the first time I have had an allergic reaction to Cerave.

Itching and burning

I accidentally ordered this thinking it was the normal moisturizing cream, which is my holy grail. However, every time I put this on my face burns and itches pretty bad. It does keep my skin moisturized, but it’s not worth the pain. I kept using it thinking my skin was just dry and irritated from my tretinoin, but there’s been no change. I’m not sure what ingredient irritates my skin that’s not in their regular cream, but after reading other reviews I’ve seen that I’m not the only one. If you’re thinking about buying this I would instead recommend their moisturizing cream and their intensive repair ointment (my other holy grail). Although, I wonder if their ingredients have changed in the cream, as well.
