Q: The directions for this product are a joke . In micro small letters says to defrost for 12 hours in the refrigerator. Found that out after I had ruined the chicken and threw it out. What a waste of MONEY never again

    Dear Kevin: I don’t know where you came from, but this is 5 stars. Killer macros to eat alone or to pair (lettuce or crispy cauliflower rice is a winner for us).     Easy dinner!

    Chicken never browned, nor was it in strips

    Not crazy about the roasted garlic chicken. the sauce has a strong garlic taste, which I don't mind, but it overpowered any other flavors. I know the pictures will never look the same as when it's actually cooked, but to be honest, after cooking it didn't look very appealing. see my attached photo. The chicken never browned (as the instructs said it would) and I was worried I might over cook it. I think I cooked it for a good 4 or 5 minutes waiting for it to brown on med-high heat, but never did. the instincts said cook for 1-2 minues until browned. There's a lot of sauce and my 9 year old said it's very "wet" lol. It may be a little better with some rice. For the price, it's definitely not worth it...not even close. The taste was okay if you're a big fan of garlic, but that's all your really taste. Definitely not getting this again. I'm curious if any of the other items I purchased are underwhelming.

    Repulsive

    Terrible smell and portions

    The smell of the chicken in the bag was sour and disgusting. The portion size is ridiculous and was not even enough for more than 2 people. For 12 dollars I wanted something at least edible. Don’t buy this brand!

    Criminally Bad

    So sad, I was so tired I wanted to try something slightly pricier that was premade for dinner. I got this because 11.98 is expensive for what you’re getting and I thought it would be worth the price. Absolutely foul, so nasty. The lime flavor is so bad, the spices aren’t even there, and the cilantro should’ve been put in separately because the presentation was awful. So thanks for this flavorless nasty looking meal! I love getting robbed yes!!!!

    Amazing Tacos!

    You guys… do yourself a favor and make these as tacos. Cut the chicken into bite sized pieces- brown them in a frying pan and then add the sauce as directed. Serve on a small flour tortilla and top with chopped white onion, chopped cilantro and sour cream. You’re welcome! One pouch makes about 4 small tacos.

    Kevin's Cilantro Chicken - Delicious!

    This product is great especially when paired with the cilantro rice. It is so easy to prepare and you have a delicious meal ready in minutes. Someone in the reviews mentioned the packaging of the chicken. It is prepared via sous vide which is why it is vacuum sealed. Because of this method the chicken is so moist and tender. You only need to open package, drain excess water and add to pan. The chicken will break apart into small pieces and then you add the sauce after a few minutes. A meal that tastes like it took longer to cook in minutes! Kevin’s products are getting such bad reviews on Target’s site and I can’t understand why? For anyone who is considering purchasing - try it! You won’t be disappointed.
