Q: It say its hypoallergenic but I've had several guests have break outs from this. We've tried different detergents and everything else but it still seems to be an issue. What type of feathers are used

A: This one is the most luxurious duvet I've owned and the least expensive. I keep thinking target drive up mixed up our order and gave us something more expensive

Look, I read the reviews and ignored them because there was a sale. Feathers poke thru and it’s intense. It’s kind of ridiculous. And now it smells weird. But that might just be me. I put this to the side and ordered a $25 one off Amazon and it’s a lot better.

Perfect down comforter. It’s exactly what I wanted for my cozy bedroom. It gives my bed the fluff I imagined. The only thing I don’t like is that the feathers come out and is really pokey. Other than that, great product!

It’s warmer than all season, which I personally dislike but maybe it’ll be nice in the winter. And the feathers poke through like crazy. I’m hoping a duvet cover smooths it out but it’s pretty uncomfortable. It’s a “crunchy” duvet which I like, but I wish I got the down alternative instead.

This blanket has the feathers poking thru ALL OVER. Doesn’t matter how many times you fluff or turn the blanket. It feels like needles poking thru all over. Definitely not worth it and I will be returning.

So puffy and just the right amount of warmth. We have a cooling mattress so I do think that helps. I didn’t find out too pokey or stinky. Feels and smells all of my other down comforters. Also the sound is quite normal as well. The negative reviews sounds like those who have never owned down.

I needed this item for a trip June 1. I ordered this and a cover on May 18. Delivery was scheduled for May 23 by OnTrac. On May 20 the item was marked unable to deliver. I was home, we have cameras, there was NO delivery attempt. I called and was told a replacement would be ordered. I told them I had to have it by June 1. Second delivery was supposed to be May 24 but once again it said unable to deliver. I called again and they said both shipments were damaged and they no longer had any more. Then they said the refund would be held for 10 days. So I can't even buy another one somewhere else before my trip. I am NEVER ordering from Target again! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!

the item has a horrendous wet dog smell that permeated my entire bedroom and laundry room. I have washed this comforter three times now and the smell persists. The other item I ordered, the duvet cover for the comforter, is with no smell, and is beautiful. I am not sure what goes on during shipping and/or manufacturing of this blanket but the resulting smell is actually noxious. I had to give up and leave it outside because of how nasty it made my home smell.

I was suprised to see many negative reviews but I think that this is because the name of the product is misleading. This is not a comforter, this is a "Duvet Comforter Insert". You will need to buy a duvet cover for this to sleep comfortbaly. The insert is feathers and down, so invetably some feathers will stick out. I personally really like this duvet insert because it is on the heavier side and I prefer that when I sleep. To me, it feels like a super comfy heavy hotel blanket. It can feel hot for those who sleep hot or live in warmer climate though.
