This new formula is just awful. It crumbles the moment any pressure is put on it. I wore the old formula for years. Even with the unending complaints, Almay refuses to improve this new formula. Why fix what wasn’t broken. Lost long time customer.
I gave a nickel allergy and Almay has been the only brand that is truly hypoallergenic. I have tried pricier brands that claim to be hypoallergenic that leave my eyes red and burning. I have been a loyal Almay user for 15 years but within the past year (when they changed the pencil casing to black from white) I have noticed a huge difference in quality. The pencil just crumbles with little effort. I thought it was a one off but all the other liners I've bought have given me the same result. The old formula created such clean lines and when you sharpened it would stay in tact. Please bring back the old formula.
I always purchase Almay products, however lately they do not seem to be the same quality. Latest purchase is Almay Eyeliner Crayon contour and it broke right away. I have used Almay since I quit selling Mary Kay products. owever I am dissappointed in the quality at this time.
Almay raisin eyeliner was my go-to for my green eyes. The last two pencils have been awful! They break constantly, so I end up throwing most of the pencil away as if breaks off in 1/16 inch pieces. Won't be buying this any more until they change the formula. At least from the reviews, I know I'm not alone!
I agree with the negative reviews on the new formula. I used the black raisin for years and it lasted a long time and didn't break. Now I am buying it every few weeks and it is soft and breaks a lot. I can no longer find this color everywhere or will I pay for eyeliner so often. I am trying to find another brand after many years of using this. Unfortunate that Almay changed a good product.
So completely disappointed you have discontinued Brown Topaz. Not everyone wants a brown that is as dark as black. The slight touch of copper in the brown softens the color and works well with my hazel eyes. Not everyone wants their eyeliner standing out 30 ft away. Colors are supposed to light up our faces not make us look garish.
Black amethyst is the perfect color for brown eyes and I absolutely loved the.old formula, but this new formula is not as smooth going on and tends to tug at my lids. Thank you for continuing the Black Amethyst but wish you had kept the intense I-color formula.
