Q: Is the there a metal heating element inside the glass part of the container that contacts with the water?

Q: Does this have a standard plug for a wall socket?

Q: Is the inside base of this glass kettle truly stainless steel? Many products state stainless steel when they aren't. I definityly do not want anything with aluminum in any of my cooking products.

Q: How hot does it boil to?

Q: is it loud? the metal one is extremely loud

Q: Is the plug universal? Can I use it while traveling internationally? Can you use it in japan? Thank you!

Q: Is the glass decanter removable to dishwasher. ?
A: Hello, Thank you for contacting Aroma Housewares. As there are electrical components in the carfe it is not intended to be placed in a dishwasher. For routine cleaning we typically recommend to add a cup of white or distilled vinegar to the kettle and let is soak for 30 minutes. You can use a non abrasive sponge and can wipe and calcification that may be on the bottom or sides of the kettle. Q: Is there any silicone that touches the water in the kettle, such as round the sale in the bottom of the kettle?
