This iconic inn attracts fascinating adventurers with one thing in common: they’re famished and have unique tastes in food. As part of the tavern's staff, feed them by matching up food tokens with the orders pictured on their Hero card. Earn colored gems (and points) for every matching food token, or a bonus for completing an order. Collect more points if you’re the first to achieve an Objective challenge or earn an endgame bonus. The player with the most points at the end wins! But there’s a twist—the colored gems that appear most frequently on the board receive the highest point value. So, strategize to tip the scoring scale in your favor. This D&D game makes a great gift for D&D fans and beginners alike, and it's an exciting game for Family Game Night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had a couple of these D&D board games now and they have great playability. Good for the family if you have older children or to play amongst friends. Takes a little bit of time to get the hang of it. Would recommend finding a “how to play” video online first but once everyone knows what they’re doing it’s great fun! Would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're hooked. We play this as a family. Totally different area of game style for us but we felt it was worth giving a go for something new. We are so glad we did. Hours of fun for all. Really gets you engaged. Kids love it, we like who it appealing for older players. Often family games have a small age preference but this is preteens till pensioners. Lovely quality. Nice to see a board game made like they used to, just feels nice and well made. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family are avid board game players. We have a huge collection, but are always looking for something new. We’ve never played traditional d&d, but the release of the movie inspired us to look into it. We came across this board game that doesn’t necessarily require any prior knowledge as it isn’t the same as the standard role playing games. We felt immersed with the characters and it really is beautiful to just look at. Easy to play, and easy to set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a huge fan of dungeons and dragons so couldn't wait to play this. The set is very well made, all pieces are strong and a good weight. The artwork is quality and the game itself is immense fun for a fan like me. My teenage daughter and husband really enjoyed it and I'd recommend it completely.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my husband love this game. We are both gamers so we love stuff like this. It's a interesting board game and not your typical one. The different coloured rocks look so beautiful in the light I couldn't stop looking at them. The game overall is fun to play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fab strategical game that gets the teens off the tech and figuring out the route to win the quest! I like the fact you can play solo or 2,3 or 4 player and the game board adjusts accordingly- the pack of gems you play for are also really nice and look like you’re really winning- a strategy game of famished beasts and fantastic feasts it sure is - definitely layers of interest to escape the tech!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This game was ok but not one the best we have played. Playing around with food and matching it to your cards can be fun, but player interaction and strategic depth are disappointingly limited. Occasionally, you might disrupt opponents’ plans by relocating a food token, but more often than not, it feels like everyone is playing cards without much interaction. There seems to be a lot of luck involved and the rules were quite complex. A simpler version might have been better?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dungeons & Dragons, the Yawning Portal offers a delightful twist on the classic D&D experience, making it accessible and enjoyable for both seasoned adventurers and newcomers. This game was a fun and engaging puzzle experience that was perfect for a change of pace. As a member of the tavern's staff at the iconic Yawning Portal, I love how my mission was to satisfy the unique and hearty appetites of the diverse adventurers who frequented the establishment. I matched up food tokens with the orders on their Hero cards to earn colored gems and points. Completing orders even brings you bonus rewards. The game keeps you on your toes with objective challenges and endgame bonuses, adding a layer of strategy to the mix. One of the unique aspects of this game is its focus on colored gems, where the most frequent gems on the board hold the highest point value. This twist adds depth to the gameplay and encourages players to strategize to tip the scoring scale in their favor. Visually, the game shines with its lively, colorful atmosphere. The well-made pieces, bright colors, and charming designs, including various gems and food tokens, create an inviting and immersive tabletop experience. In terms of gameplay, it's surprisingly simple yet incredibly fun. This is a fantastic addition to your collection, offering a light-hearted, fantasy-themed game that pairs well with other tavern-based adventures. I would highly recommend this game to others looking for a fun and engaging experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, we as a family (children 8 & 12) really enjoyed this game! The instructions could do with some improvement as they are very hard to follow (we had to look up a video explanation in order to understand how to play). It took a few games for us to really understand how it all works but once we got our heads around it, we all thoroughly enjoyed playing! I can see this being a firm favourite!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good game for older children. My 12 year old played this with his older brother and friends. I would say it was a little complicated for my 12 year old. But once they got the hang of the game they have had lots of fun. I would recommend to people but maybe for older children.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12 year old son and I enjoyed playing this game and didn’t feel that we needed to be well versed in the world of Dungeons & Dragons to understand it. We loved having real gem pieces to use and thought that added to the game play.
