They’re only 3 lbs (each) but that’s heavier than you think. I find myself adjusting them throughout my workout. You can move the pieces around, which I do when I feel them getting too close to my ankle bone or shin. A little pricey, even with the discount I used. I recommend if you want to add a little resistance to your cardio routine, but please invest in some long crew socks so they don’t irritate your ankles.
