Q: The specs state this is a 200 watt. However, if the vacuum is listed accurately by Bissell name on Target’s website, it should be a 280 watt not the 200 watt it states it is. Can you please confirm if this is 200 W or 280 W?

A: This is actually furfinder, 200W, since the model number is 4137, which state as Similar Models on BISSELL website.

Q: Is this really ok for use on hardwood floors ? I just had them installed and the store told me not to use a vacuum with a roller brush.

Q: Is this really a FurGuard? It looks like a FurFinder and seems to have a lower wattage. Plus, both the retail and sale amounts are less than the Bissell website.

A: Great question, Nick! It is Target's retail-specific version (Model 4137) with a 200W motor. The BISSELL FurGuard (Model 4039) sold elsewhere features a 280W motor and may offer stronger suction. Both include the FurFinder Tool and self-cleaning brush roll. Hope this helps!

A: The dirt tank should be emptied after cleaning or when your dirty tank is full.The dirt tank can be removed by pressing the dirt tank release button on the front of the machine.

A: Yes, the battery on the BISSELL PowerClean FurGuard Cordless Pet Vacuum (model 4137) is detachable. You can remove it by pressing and holding the battery release buttons and pulling upwards. It can also be charged separately from the vacuum.

I am not real happy with the life of the battery. The vacuum has great pick up but it only last like 20 minutes however the package says 40-50 minutes and it takes 2 hours to charge. May end up taking it back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3 out of 5 stars) The Bissell stick vacuum does a nice job picking up dirt and has good suction power for a lightweight vacuum. However, the battery life was a bit disappointing. The ad says “up to 50 minutes,” but in reality, I’m only getting about 20 minutes per charge. That’s not quite enough time to clean the whole house if you’re being thorough. Overall, it works well for quick cleanups, but if you’re looking for something to handle larger areas, this might not be the best choice. I should’ve checked the reviews more closely before buying (and definitely shouldn’t have tossed the box so soon!).

It’s lightweight, simple to put together. The only thing I didn’t like was on high suction, The battery lasted 15 to 20 minutes. And it takes two hours to charge. It’s great if you have hardwood floors and you want to get a pet hair. It doesn’t go all the way under the furniture because of the design. You may have to use a broom to get under your bed or dresser, but then you can use this vacuum to suck up the hair and dust. I’m gonna look at buying a spare battery so that I can always switch out as needed

tTe vacuum itself is great, works as it should. Shame on target for their deceptive marketing. This model is named furguard, while having the specifications of the fur finder. The differences between the two being the furfinder (and this furguard) have 200w motors and the normal furguard has 280w motor. Renaming the lower tier vacuum to appear to be a better value is shady.

For a compact vacum I like it and it far cheaper than a Dyson, and it feels well constructed, and there are a lot of interchangable parts so this can easily turn into a small hand vaccum.

Did we necessarily need another one? No. However, the Bissell PowerClean FurGuard has truly raised the bar. • The design is streamlined and slimmer than our other stick vac and feels more like a traditional vacuum. It's SO EASY to remove the floor sweeper piece and convert to a long tube for those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies. The canister is also easy to empty, and I don't worry about all the contents falling out like I do with my other vacuum. • We use a superfine litter and the Bissel does an amazing job at picking up tiny pieces that are tracked out of the box. • THE LIGHT! The light is probably our favorite feature. It's super bright and makes it easy to see all those little pebbles of litter I mentioned. You think you've gotten everything, but the light reveals all! • It truly does a great job with pet hair. We have three cats, so there's always a fur clump or dust bunny around. The Bissel sucks all of it away. • The charging station is solid and well-designed. The vacuum clicks in easily when it's time to recharge. • My only con is the weight. It is a little heavier, so kids and older people might have some difficulty using it. Average able-bodied teens and adults should have no problems. We honestly didn't expect to be so pleased with a vacuum, but my husband fell in love with it the first time he used it, declaring, "This is GREAT!!!" It's made Adulting a lot more enjoyable!

This is NOT a vacuum that is meant to spotlessly clean your entire carpeted house. It works GREAT if you don’t expect too much from it! My house is almost all hard flooring, with the exception of a few area rugs. I bought this to do quick daily Golden Retriever hair pickups, and for that it works perfectly. I’m able to run it for about 10 minutes everyday on my non-carpeted floors and the battery will last for about 4-5 days. It picks up ALL of the dog hair on the solid floors, and does a fair job if I use it on the rugs, but it does kill the battery more quickly. I can’t stand walking barefoot with dog hair all over the floor so this vacuum is a fantastic life saver for me!

i love this vacuum. i wanted a cordless vacuum with lights, removable battery, and something that rolls on carpet easily. this vacuum pulls a lot from my carpet and leaves those great carpet lines!!! it’s also quite and works well on my hard floors too. my only issue is i wish you could adjust the height of the vacuum.
