Q: In cleaning the dirty water tank, the inner cylinder (black and purple in color) came unattached. It doesn't seem to screw in, but maybe is just glued? How do I get it to stay in place again?

A: It depends on how much water you put down when squeezing the spray trigger on the handle. Your carpet will require drying time.

I used this cleaner to on my rugs, which it did a good job with. What I am disappointed in, is the amount of water collected in the dirty tank before it needs to be emptied. It only fills a few inches and then stops sucking, and the clean water tank isn't even half used. What a pain, to keep stopping to empty that little bit of water when the dirty tank is 7/8ths empty. I would return it if it wasn't past the return window.

This unit does clean. HOWEVER you xan not even get through one tank of clean water without having to stop and emptybthe dirty tank. The dirty rank will not fill more than 2 inches. It cause you to stop start many times to clean a small bedroom. This is the second time I purchased this unit because I thought the old one was defective- but the new one has the same float issue causing it to consistently stop siphoning the liquid into the dirty tank.
I would definalely buy it again.

This is a terrific machine! It was easy to assemble. It is relatively lightweight, and easy to use. I only use the recommended Bissell cleaning solution, and that stuff it great! The machine cleaned my rug perfectly, and the Bissell solution also took care of the odor caused by my dog's 'mistakes'. Additionally, it pulled up lots of pet hair that my vacuum didnt..

I love this cleaner! I have an old Bissel shampooer and it's so heavy to lug around. This new machine is smaller and about half the weight of my old one. I would recommend it.

It's FINE. Not great, constantly have to empty the dirty water and refill the clean water. Buy never at the same time. I've had it about a year and it no longer suctions water up out of the carpet.
After using it once the machine won't start!

I have had this product for over a year now and have used it regularly. It works just as well as more expensive cleaners, and I would even say as well as getting your carpet professionally cleaned. If you’re on the fence, I would really recommend this one!

I’ve had it for about a year and a half. I bought it because I had a senior dog who was having accidents and vomiting. It’s okay for simple jobs but I wouldn’t recommend for pet messes.

This carpet cleaner is amazing! It removed stains that I thought would be impossible to get out. It does need to be refilled multiple times while cleaning a room but the time and effort is definitely worth the end results.

It’s okay, if you are going to clean a relatively clean carpet or don’t have pets or children. Just very basic and doesn’t lift stains or anything unless you spend hours doing it
