A: Hi Michelle - yes, these are two completely different models and the 2987 is our newest version. It features a four-row Deep Reach PowerBrush Roll, a two-tank system and easy-to-remove water tanks and a removable nozzle to make cleaning the machine after use easy.

A: To turn on the BISSELL TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner – 2806, follow these steps: Locate the Power Switch: The power switch is typically found on the left side of the machine's base, near the bottom. Works good BUT if you have more than a very small room or area rug to do, invest in a big one. The water tank is entirely too small- I only have a couple 8x8 area rugs and I swear I have to empty the tank 10 times to do both. Ridiculous

Works good! I’ve gotten a lot of use out of it in almost a year and it still works perfectly. It is small and hold small amounts of water so I find myself having to empty and refill rather quickly. But it would be great for an apartment or a space with mainly rugs.

I got this to replace my crosswave pet. I have always had Boswell full size units, but got this because I thought it would be a solid unit…I was so wrong.

This is the 3rd carpet cleaner I’ve owned & have a multiple pet household. Overall a baseline choice that is easy to clean & use. This model helps if you’re in a pinch to buy in store but better options online with better cleaning features. Pros: Easy to put together out of the box; self explanatory directions to use; very easy to clean/empty dirty parts. Cons: Runs through solution water very quickly (have to fill up approximately 3x for an 8x10 rug); would not do well for a fully carpeted home unless you want to refill a million times.

Bought and used today. Easy to use, fairly light weight. Seemed to work well, based on the color of the used water I dumped out 😬 Rug is still drying 3 hrs later but that's to be expected. Would not recommend the Bissell cleaning liquid I used - do not care for the odor at all. I think the one with Gain scent will be better.
