A: Whatever you do, do NOT use Zep carpet cleaner. Even though the bottle says it's safe for Hoover Uprights, it broke the motor in this very machine. I am shopping for it's replacement now.

Happy with this carpet cleaner. Love that it is very light and compact. I don’t mind having to fill the water tank several times. It’s usually the heavy carpet cleaners that tires me out and hurts my backs. This one is just right for me. I have had this carpet cleaner for over two years now, and still working great.

Got this machine yesterday and tried to register it. None of the numbers on the label satisfied their requirements. No record of the product number, and yet that same number is on the listed user manual. The machine box lists a heater unit that is not on the actual machine. The method of cleaning out the dirty water says to unlatch the container, nothing I could find to do that. I am very dissatisfied with the whole thing.

Still giving it 5 stars, though we had to tape the handle on to get it to stay. It's a perfect solution for keeping our bedroom carpet clean. It removed the residue and re-staining left after a professional carpet clean. We prefer to use it with Folex carpet cleaner solution - 1 part to 4 parts of water. We did multiple passes to suction up the solution and the low pile carpet dried in about 4 hours on a humid day.

This worked great on my friends hallway carpet, she no longer has to have the carpet replaced. Of course I forgot to get a picture of it completed. But these are the before and partway done pictures. Very impressed with how amazing this worked. I only wish I had opted for the one with the upholstery attachments. Thank you Hoover!

I have had my power dash pet for over 9 years. It has been used daily at times when our lab was having accidents and often unable to keep her food down. It is so easy to use and clean. I am glad to have it for our new rescue during housebreaking.

Love this machine for cleaning very large area rug. I have four dogs and although they are house-trained, they get mud, food and hair all over this rug. I vacuum it, then use this carpet cleaner often. It takes all stains and smells out everytime!

# one complaint. Hard to clean up machine ! I don’t want to tear 1/2 machine apart to clean rollers& underneath machine. I have a larger unit (Fl home) where front flips down to expose rollers. much easier to clean. #2. Have used it several times now and water seems to disperse when handle is NOT engaged. Attempting to suck up water & it keeps dispensing it which makes it hard to get all the water I can out of carpet. I also feel I would not buy again. Too small and have to empty&clean machine too often. Can’t achieve much with 1 tank. Have a lot of throw rugs ! Will use for small touch ups or dog accidents but not really good for much else. Wasn’t worth the money I spent I will consider purchasing the larger unit (like I have in Fl) for my Ohio home. Ps. Contacted help center about water dispensing when trigger wasn’t in gaged they were very friendly but problem not resolved

Bought this back in December. I used it four times and now it no longer works. It will no longer spray solution. I have cleaned it and made sure there are no clogs but it still won’t work. This is the second carpet cleaner I have bought from Hoover that has broken within a few months. Very disappointed in the quality.

I live in a building complex, I have pets 2,dogs and 4 cats . This is the machine you need . I had used a lot of carpet cleaners in my days , im telling you get it . It sucks all the water , is weight less, I dont mind the size of the tank. Get it , get it . You will love it .

I have 2 yorkies and caring for a friend's dog temporarily. I also have osteoporosis which makes cleaning with heavy cleaners impossible. Powerdash was easy to put together and easy to use and cleans great.
