The BLACK+DECKER HNVC220BCZ01 Compact Lithium Hand Vacuum is lightweight, yet powerful, easy to charge and easy to clean. This cordless hand vacuum has it all. The HNVC220BCZ01 is powered by a lithium ion battery that holds a charge when its off its charger, offers more charge cycles and is lighter than NiCd batteries. This lightweight vacuum is only 1.4lbs and has 16 Air Watts of suction power. The translucent bagless dirt bowl makes it easy see the dirt level in the larger 13oz capacity bowl and is easy to empty; both filter and dirt bowl are washable. The included brush lets you use the vacuum for dusting + on upholstery, and the crevice tool gives you access to hard to reach areas. The included wall-mountable charger allows for 1 step charging and storage, with an LED light that lets you know when unit is fully charged. Q: Does the wall charger mount need to be nailed into the wall? I'm not allowed to do that where I live. Is there any other way?

A: It is not easy to charge if you don’t mount the charger on the wall. You can make it work on the floor but it’s tricky to make sure vacuum connects properly.

Picked this up for(hopefully) a car vacuum. Put it on the charger for about 3hrs and then took it for a spin. This is not a good solution for a car! They suction is too weak to pick up any embedded dirt/crumbs and it cannot reach under or between seats. I'd say the only good use is for very light cleanup on a sofa or table. I guess for $35 I'm not too mad about it.

Great dustbuster EXCEPT you have to press the power button the entire time you're using it! Thumb get tired real quick. Never imagined so I threw box away and can't return it but makes it almost unusable for longer than 10 seconds at a time or so.

The recharging stopped working a few days (90 days) after Target would no longer accept the return. Target would not accept the return. You will find this item regularly on sale at Target. It is not worth the sale price, it will stop working after 90 days and an extended warranty is a rip-off.

Yeah it’s not the greatest but what do you expect for that cheap these days. Look at the reviews of other brand handheld vacuums and they’re all poor. Theres hardly one you can find that’s hands down the best. I’m on a quest of trying out handheld vacuums and then reporting on them. I mean it works if you’re not sucking up a ton of big things and crumbs. It does take a long time to charge not gonna lie. If you really want a handheld vacuums that works just maybe get one that has more suction and power and holds a charge for longer. It’s good for some really basic crumbs or cleaning up around a gerbil cage or something. But it does need to be emptied very easily but maybe it’s for those people that don’t need a full time handheld and it’s just casual. It works on vacuuming my sheets to get off the crumbs I left in my bed after watching movies all night and snacking on popcorn. It gets the dust off around my bed area. It sucked up a pen cap. I mean get it if you wanna. It ain’t top tier, but they never promised to be. Get it if you don’t need to clean up after kids and dogs. If the kids leave messes everywhere big ones etc playdoh. This is not gonna suck up playdoh I promise. Maybe tiny tiny dried pieces. It’s probably not going to be the best to suck up a lot of pet hair and kitchen etc but you try it and you see for yourself.

I’m not a fan of this vacuum and will be returning. It doesn’t suck up the debris very well and you have to hold the button to operate. Although a great price, not worth it. I will return and get a different one.

I was very gentle with the vacuum, I made sure to clean the parts and didn't overly use. I would only use it for my stairs and it lasted about 6 months before it stopped working! I thought it might have been dead but it wont even charge. Highly dissapointed.

That is the worst vacuum I’ve ever used. It blows all the exhaust back on me whatever I try to clean up whether it’s dust or baby powder or whatever it all blows back on me and everywhere in the air that vacuum is a piece of crap.

This vacuum is so weak. It has decent suction for maybe a couple minutes and dies fairly quickly. Less than 10 minutes if using continuously. Not sure it could even go 10 minutes. Once it dies, it requires hours of charge just to function at 25% power and will die within couple minutes. Antone recommending this must be just using it for a couple seconds at a time. Good for tiny spot cleaning maybe but it also blows air out the back so make sure to vacuum at the front of the mess your vacuuming otherwise it will blow the rest everywhere!

No crevice attachment----misleading

The product description says this includes a crevice attachment and the photos/video show a long crevice attachment, but there was no attachment was in the box. The instruction book in the box also says there is a crevice device included, but there isn't.

We apologize for any inconvenience. The crevice tool is stored inside the nozzle. If you look at the nozzle you will see an arrow, push down slightly and pull the crevice tool away from the nozzle to use.
