Q: The description states that it is slides 3 AA batteries and the blink sync module. However, near the end of the description section it states the requires sync module is not included. Which is it?

A: Hi Jenn, thank you for your question. The Blink Video Doorbell Add-On does not include the sync module. The sync module helps extend the battery life for up to two years and it is sold separately in regards to this Add-On model. There is also availability of the Blink Video Doorbell bundled with the sync module through Target.com. I hope this helps, have a great day!

A: Hi Jenn, thanks for reaching out about Blink Video Doorbell Add-On. f you are buying the Blink Video Doorbell "Add-On", you will need to either already own a Blink Sync Module (Sync Module 2 is recommended for the best features, especially local storage), or you will need to purchase one separately to get the most out of your doorbell. There are bundles available (often advertised as "Blink Video Doorbell + Sync Module 2") that include both for new users, but the "Add-On" SKU specifically leaves the Sync Module out.
