Bose SoundLink Micro Portable Speaker (2nd Gen)

very good option if you're looking for an fairly priced speaker with good performance. Ive been using it for a few weeks but I wasn't expecting much because its pretty inexpensive compared to other models, but it actually surprised me a lot. The bass is really good even at lower volumes and on max volume its much louder than I expected. Ive used it outdoors at the beach, the pool and the park many times and I have no compliants with the sound outdoors. If youre looking for a nice sounding speaker on the go, this is a very viable option.

This mini bluetooth speaker is GREAT for me around my apartment and on the go. My bathroom is far from my living room but this speaker makes listening to music in the shower and getting dressed super easy and convenient. The sound is incredible, and the bass is nicely calibrated, just like all other Bose products. I also took it on a short bike ride and it was like my own personal concert with me. I love it!

I received this speaker as a gift. It's a powerful little thing! The sound is amazing with just the right amount of bass. It's compact, but don't let the size fool you!

I previously owned the first generation and I am so glad with the improvements on this version. I love that it has USB-C since I travel a lot so I prefer to just keep the amount of cables down. I feel that the design is rugged enough to be thrown around in my bag while travelling. The best part is the fact I can use it in the shower or at the pool. I really like the size, however the only issue/recommendation I have is that the strap that it has is not always long enough for my purposes. I would love to be able to wrap it around the shower curtain rail or something like that. I also wish that the bottom of the speaker had a stand or something since I don’t like to lay it down. The sound is still good but I just lean it up against the shower wall or a bottle to get the best effect. I also have the Bose Soundlink Max, so when I am in the pool or party I love to connect them so that we have the same music coming from different sources. I love the seamless connection and I do have to say for such a small speak the noise quality is excellent. I listen to a range of music and love that you can change the EQ through the app. The app isn’t always my favourite to use but it makes it easy to connect. I think that this product is great, it is a bit bigger than my JBL waterproof speak and the noise quality is much better than my old Braven speaker. I really prefer to use this. If you’re on the fence, I really recommend this product especially if you travel or like to listen to music in “not-dry” conditions.

THE SOUND!!!! I have come to expect a lot from Bose and the SoundLink Micro (2nd Gen) meets and even exceeds those expectations. I am a true music lover and have to have it around me at all times. And that's the one I most love about this unit - I can use it while in the shower. And the best part, there is no difference in sound quality when either wet or dry. Phenomenal, rich, and full sound ALL the time. It easily connects to any device without a hiccup and the battery life is out of this world. It is truly a great product. If I had to change one thing, it would be the strap. I am not a fan of it - I have the 1st Gen Micro and I feel like I can maneuver it a bit easier than the new strap. However, the new strap is longer than the original, so I feel that will come in handy when we're at the beach and want to attach it to an umbrella post.

I received my SoundLink Micro 2nd Gen speaker about a month ago and let me start off by saying it has been revamped and exponentially enhanced when compared to its predecessor. The most notable physical design improvement would have to be the ruggedized and replaceable strap that allow the speaker to be placed just about anywhere from bike handlebars to the shower. The sound quality and customization capabilities are light years beyond the original. Lastly, the enhanced connectivity and battery life make this the premier portable and budget friendly speaker that is ready for just about anything. I highly recommend this speaker!

I love this thing - My wife and I were recently in the hospital for the birth of our daughter and had a lot of time while tests were done and the like. we used it for nearly three full days off and on to watch movies on my tablet, and it was perfect. it sounded great, had an excellent battery life, and connected quickly - if I had one nitpick - I wish it had a microphone.

Great little speaker with outstanding sound quality. Easy to set up and connect to a phone right out of the box. The updated strap from the first generation allows for secure attachment to a variety of locations and items - I personally attached a carabiner to the strap to make it easier to attach to my backpack. Highly recommend this great little speaker.

This little speaker is very powerful. It is a convenient size, and comes with a velcro strap. The sound is clear, and it’s easy to connect it to other devices. It holds charge well, and also comes with a charger. Love this speaker.

Wow this little speaker packs a big punch! I love that it's so small and inconspicuous and I can hide it just about anywhere in my house. The material is so smooth and the quality of the sound is everything you would expect from Bose. I use this multiple times a day for 30 minutes to 2 hours and the charge lasts around 3-5 days. The only thing that I don't care for (because it's unnecessary for me) is the adjustable Velcro strap on the back. It doesn't have a large enough opening to allow for the speaker to be attached to much, but I can see how someone might appreciate it.

I've had this speaker for a few weeks now and can say that this speaker sounds stupendous considering the size. It is primarily made as a personal speaker. The loudness is pretty astounding considering how small and lightweight this speaker is. It is less than a pound. I have notice I personally like to listen to the speaker on its back vs having it stand upright. When it is on its back, it increases the bass with whatever you are placing it on. Portability is great, fits in my pocket. I use it to watch videos on my computer and the audio comes out crystal clear. The battery life is good considering how lightweight this speaker is as well. Connectivity was a little sketchy in the beginning as for some reason pairing was not saving to my phone. That has since been rectified however I'm not sure exactly how I fixed it. From hip hop music to 70s classic rock, I am enjoying the clarity in this speaker. All in all, I give this speaker a 5 out of 5.

Bought the sound link micro Gen 1 and had it for more than a year and nothing but good vibes with it. Now Gen 2 is out and knew I had to get and I did. Sold my old one and got this one and both units are solid. Better bass on Gen 2, app customization is a plus and its size it’s still great. If you want the best Bose knows how to do the job right.

Pros: - Small and compact - Easy to setup and configure - Good quality sound for small device - better than iPhone, Galaxy S24+, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Nintendo Switch 2 built in speakers Cons: - Bose App did not detect or support this device when received, so I could not customize the button or update its software/firmware. - Sound distortion is very bad at (near) max volume. Both highest and one down has noticeable sound distortion. - 'Strap' for mounting could have been larger. This device would be nice to mount to things like a grill, or bike handlebars, but the limited range in which it allows the strap to still function is very small Overall, love how it sounds for how small it is!

Durable and portable speaker. Great little design and strong speaker. 12 hour battery life. Easily connect to bluetooth. 30ft range which isn't terrible for a small speaker. Definitely recommend this for traveling work.

Love this portable speaker! It easily connects to devices through Bluetooth and sounds amazing! The audio is very clear. If you download the app, it has an equalizer to adjust your sound levels. There is a hook and loop strap attached to the speaker that allows you to attach or hang the speaker so it’s more secure.

This is just okay. We had higher hopes for a Bose product. The sound is not as loud as we thought it would be. The quality of sound is good though. It was easy to pair and use right out of the box and it does hold a decent charge.

The portable speaker market is SATURATED, but there's a reason Bose is at the top. You can hear the difference. Love that the battery lasts all day out on the boat and I don't have to worry about it accidentally getting wet. Worth every penny.
