  • A: Thanks for your question. We want to assure you all variations of Cascade are formulated to not bubble up too much if used according to the instructions on the package. Hand dish soap left on any dishes you may have pre-washed can also add suds. Malfunctioning door gaskets can also lead to over sudsing, as the broken seal allows pressure to be released.

    Clean dishes and very convenient

    Over promised and under delivered

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cascade Complete Action packs give the feeling of being the product that does it all and making life simple, but it falls short of that image more often than you would hope. The pods can clean the dishes and leave a faint, but noticeable clean smell with the dishes as well. However, I am a person that respects a product that knows its limits and doesn't over promise, but delivers what it says it will consistently. As seen from the attached images, the pods mostly, but sometimes do not actually clean the dishes. Their rinse aids that help the dishes dry will always fall short of dedicated rinse aid. I almost always have wet dishes at the end when I use this product, which is fine; if they aren't putting rinse aid in the product and advertising it as a complete product. Every now and again, the pods also leave behind their plastic carcass for me to throw away and wash my hands from the soapy residue. Sometimes, I wonder how a product like this can possibly be safe to go down small residential plumbing pipes, and I think it might be best not to risk it and stick with the classics. Is it simple, easier to use, and mostly effective dish detergent? Yes, but it's not the new invention that has revolutionized how we think of dish detergent. It still has some improvements to be made before it will convince me to give up simple dish detergent in a box.

The ActionPac didn't dissolve all the way when we ran the dishwasher, leaving behind this soggy gel blob. The dishes were clean, but I could still see spots on them, which makes them not look very clean in my opinion. The container is nice for storage and the lid seals closed, which is nice.

    Cascade with Dawn

Just grab one out of the container and place it in the dishwasher. I’m really happy with having Dawn dish soap in the tablet to help fight the grease and oils off the dishes, with no residue left with a complete shine.     Everything you need in one pak

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once again, this is a huge tub. I had no idea how many of these things I was actually getting lol! These come in a large tub with a convenient lid that snaps shut. The paks have a powder layer and then two swirled liquid layers. They do have a very fresh scent in the tub and smelled great while the dishwasher was running. I like that these paks have three different dishwashing elements all in one thing. And it uses Dawn! It takes care of everything you need and works really well. My dishes came out squeaky clean and it even did a good job on the silverware and pans.

    Great product that works exactly as it advertises

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a big fan of the cascade dishwashing pods forever. I’ve tried a lot of their different versions and they have ones that are more expensive than this that have more features for lack of a better term but these are excellent. They get the job done. Period. I also like the fresh scent when I open up the dishwasher it just smells clean in there. I used to be one of those people that washed the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher effectively just using it as a sanitizing machine. With these packs, it’s only necessary to get the big food particles off so they don’t clog your dishwasher filter, the detergent sticks to food particles, and dissolves everything off so your dishes come out clean and sparkly. I think the price point on these is extremely fair especially for how well they work. I’ve never had trouble with the pod, not completely dissolving and the dishwasher can be packed completely full, and everything still comes out clean as a whistle!
