Q: is there any bleach in the packets

submitted by goes on clear - 5 months ago

  • A: Hello! Thank you for your question. The Cascade ActionPacs contain Sodium Carbonate Peroxide, which is an oxygen-based bleach, not chlorine bleach. It gently whitens and helps remove stains while being safe for most dishwashing applications. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at (800) 765-5516.

Q: When I started using Cascade platinum pods, my dishwasher started leaking due to too many suds (as I was told by my plumber). Can this happen? Is Cascade complete better with less suds?

submitted by PK - 4 years ago

  • A: Thanks for your question. We want to assure you all variations of Cascade are formulated to not bubble up too much if used according to the instructions on the package. Hand dish soap left on any dishes you may have pre-washed can also add suds. Malfunctioning door gaskets can also lead to over sudsing, as the broken seal allows pressure to be released.

Q: How is it "complete" with our bleach of any kind? Your dish detergents are soo full of fail now.

submitted by no - 6 years ago

  • A: Thank you for your question, Cakeatron. The benefit of any bleach ingredient, regardless of bleach type, is to remove or lighten color. Our Cascade Complete doesn't contain a bleaching agent. However our Cascade +Oxi does contain an oxygen based bleach which offers the same results as any other bleach. Please give us a call at (800) 765-5516, if we can help you further.

Convenient , easy to use pods for everyday dishwashing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the pods is convenient - they fit easily in my dishwasher’s detergent container. The package is lightweight and easy to handle. The container feels durable and closed security for storage. The pre measured pods make cleanup and maintenance easy, with no loose powder to spill. I haven’t noticed any difference in dishwasher noise when using them.

    Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Cascade Complete ActionPacs, Fresh Scent in the 78 count tub complementary from Influencer to try and give my honest review. They come in a plastic tub that you can just open the lid, grab a pac out then close the lid to help keep the product fresh. These dishwasher detergent pacs are powered with the grease fighting Dawn to help remove grease, grime, and stuck on food while leaving your dishes with a sparkling shine. They perform well, with a fresh scent and are easy to use. I would buy them in the future and I would recommend this product.

Works well even on clear glass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im genuinely impressed by these! I never had a dishwasher until about five years ago. When I got one, I tried powder, gel and packs in a few varieties to see what worked best. Gel was the clear winner so that’s what I’ve used ever since. However, I was still handwashing our clear glass drinking glasses because they would have water spots on them regardless of rinse aid and so on. These cascade pacs with dawn work great even on our clear glass glasses!

    Detergent bag does not dissolve

I have the issue of dissolving the detergent bag even though I use Hot Cycle and I ensure that the water going to the dishwasher is hot. This happened multiple times. Parts containing blue an green color liquids are gone, but the part with main detergent content stays intact. It looks this is not just my issue, other customers have the same. So, apparently this product is defective. Avoid !

I keep them in their original container with the lid on. I do not get them wet. I am having to tear them apart every single time I go to use one. Half of the time they are so sticky that they prevent the detergent slot from opening.

Title: Gets dishes completely clean without pre-rinsing!"I have been using these Cascade Platinum pacs for my busy family's dishes, and they work great. They easily remove dried-on pasta sauce and coffee stains without me having to scrub the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The only downside is that if my hands are slightly wet when I reach into the container, the pacs stick together and can rip. Overall, they save me a lot of time and leave my glasses streak-free."
