Q: Why does the warm setting continue at full boil forever, either causing the food to turn to mush or burning it? I purchased 2 of these crock pots recently and both continue to boil forever? Thanks!!!
A: We had the same problem, wrote the company they didn't help, returned it for the last time and purchased another brand. It's a terrible crockpot.
submitted byDls123 - 8 years agoA: the pot boils on all settings but warm, if just keeping as is set to warm.
submitted bycookielongnose - 8 years agoA: The unit should not be boiling on the warm setting. Q: Can I put the ceramic pot in over
A: Yes, I have used mine in the oven to reheat, but like the the post above says, I place it in oven cold and let it warm up as the oven warms up. I usually only reheat at 350* to avoid drying out the ingredients. This is a great basic slow cooker !
submitted bykatdan - 7 years agoA: Yes, the removable Crock-Pot® stoneware (not lid) is oven safe up to 400° F. When using the stoneware in your oven, do not preheat the oven. Place the stoneware in a cold oven and then turn the oven on. The stoneware cannot be used in the broiler. Thanks and have a great day.

Q: How is this programmable? A recipe is supposed to be cooked on low for 4 hours, and there's no way to set this, unless I missed it in the manual? Thanks.
A: Once you turn on select the low cycle, then press select to scroll through to the 4 hrs.
submitted byrop - 7 years agoA: The programmable function, refers to the 4 digital preset cooking modes and the automatic switch to warm function. For short cooking time recipes that call for 4 hours on low, you would have to stop the cooking process yourself after the 4 hours. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for providing your feedback.
