Q: will it cook a 12" pizza

submitted by Tedboat - 2 years ago
  • A: It has a pop out in the back so yes it will

submitted bysneakers - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, it will cook a 12” pizza.

submitted byBoo - 10 months ago
  • A: The interior only measures 11 wide x 10 deep. A 12 inch pizza won't fit.

submitted byM - 2 years ago
  • A: Go to under the About This Item to under Details and finally to "About this Item" Target states - Large enough to AirFry up to 3lb., toast 6 slices of bread, bake a 4 lb. chicken or 12" pizza

submitted byBuzzie - 9 months ago
  • A: Yes. The interior is large and designed to easily hold and cook a 12” pizza.

    submitted bygug9000 - 6 months ago
  • A: See the Cuisinart website for accurate dimensions.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago
  • A: So, which answer is correct? The differences in the answers are significant.

submitted byMr DJ - 2 years ago
  • A: The interior actually measures 12 1/4 wide by 12 3/16 deep. It WILL fit a 12" pizza and by the way a 12" pizza is rarely 12 actual inches.

    submitted byTravel0926 - 2 years ago

Q: This may seem silly but how does it work as a toaster. I can't seem to wrap my head around it not "standing" like in a traditional toaster. Thank you!

submitted by dk4 - 2 years ago
  • A: On image of oven you can see there are two knobs one says function you turn the knob to where it say toast then the knob says Toast Timer which shows the different shade of toast you prefer.

submitted byBuzzie - 9 months ago
  • A: Actually works better horizontally than a normal vertical toaster if you want to put pat(s) of cold butter on bread.

submitted byleasemonkey - 9 months ago
  • A: I have this AF. It works great as a Toaster too. Toast evenly.

submitted byDebF - 11 months ago
  • A: The website listing describes this function.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago
  • A: Think of it like a mini oven. You can make toast in a traditional oven, where the bread would lay flat, dur to the circulation of heat. Just have to watch it so it doesn't burn since it won't pop out. Hope that helps

submitted byMK - 11 months ago
  • A: It works well enough as a toaster that we got rid of our toaster for more counter space.

submitted byWolf - 11 months ago
  • A: Do you have a toaster? Turn it 90 degrees on its side. Has a top element and bottom element. Toasts top and bottom simultaneously

submitted byLynda LooLee - 1 year ago
  • A: Think of it as a “broiler” if you are wanting toast.

submitted byCreekermom - 11 months ago

Q: If I were to replace this with my microwave how fast does it reheat something

submitted by Sheri - 1 year ago
  • A: I wouldn't /didn't. You can't make instant coffee in an airfryer. Reheat wet things in microwave, dry things like pizza in AF.

submitted byLynda LooLee - 1 year ago
  • A: Using warm and low temp it reheats pretty quick, doesn't get bread soggy, and I think it heats more evenly.

submitted byWolf - 11 months ago
  • A: pretty quick, I would say it was worth it

submitted bymadison - 11 months ago
  • A: Slower than a microwave but faster than the oven. Tastes better than the microwave IMO.

submitted byshoppin mama - 11 months ago
  • A: It does not heat as quickly as a microwave. A microwave cooks using radio waves, this convection oven heats by moving fan forced hot air, which is a bit quicker than a regular oven. Remember, a microwave cooks from inside out a convection oven cooks from outside in with hot air, not by heat radiating from a hot electric element which means the hot air is circulated around whatever is being cooked or warmed up. Hope that helps!

Q: why does mine burn everything I try to bake. I can only airfry or broil

submitted by Wondering - 2 years ago
  • A: I bake everything in my AIRFRYER. Just be sure it’s on Bake and you adjust temperature accordingly. I bake 2 loaves of Sourdough bread 325 about 30 minutes. Turns out great!

submitted bySHIRL - 11 months ago
  • A: It is small inside with elements close to the food, I use to reheat basically.

submitted byKz - 1 year ago
  • A: Um it's too hot? Try reducing time and temp by 25% like the conversion to airfry with conventional oven instructions. Or maybe it isn't exactly on bake and you're airfrying your cookies?

submitted byLynda LooLee - 1 year ago

Q: Is the height of the baking rack/air fryer basket stationary or is it adjustable? I can't tell if it has a lower level and a higher level to place the tray in order to cook bigger items.

submitted by Bluejar - 2 years ago
  • A: The user manual on the website listing addresses your question.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago
  • A: Adjustable rack, yes, can be lowered for taller items.

submitted byMojo - 1 year ago
  • A: See the clickable user manual on the website listing for information.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago

Q: Does it require a special outlet? My kitchen outlet the cord got hot on my last one. Great oven.

submitted by SLB - 1 year ago
  • A: Maybe it's your circuit amperage. You might have to many appliances on that circuit. Try another outlet or check breaker box. Mine is fine 20 amp circuit.

submitted byLynda LooLee - 1 year ago
  • A: The size of wiring, the breaker in the house must meet Volts x Amps = Watts. 120V x 15A = 1800W. A 20A circuit is better than 15A commonly used in a home. Call a qualified electrician to check it out.

submitted byDean - 1 year ago

Q: For air frying....Instead of using the number 2 level inside the oven, can I use number 1 level? Since the 2 level is high up I think it would be easier to use the lower number 1 level. Please advise.

submitted by CRZ - 2 years ago
  • A: Guidance on the subject is in the clickable user manual on the website listing.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago
  • A: Sure. . I mostly use lower level but basket works best at higher level bc of air flow above, below, around the food.

submitted byLynda LooLee - 1 year ago

Q: Can a 9x13 baking dish fit

submitted by Lisa - 2 years ago
  • A: If there are no handles on it it would barely fit per another response. Best to NOT try it.

submitted byColoradoTarget - 1 year ago
  • A: No you have to use smaller pans

submitted byLynda LooLee - 1 year ago

Q: can it be mounted under the counter? I can't give up any more counter space

submitted by Maggamooo - 2 years ago
  • A: Information about safety and placement of the oven is shown in the website listing. See also the user manual on the site.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago
  • A: No. According to the listing 2 to 4 inches clearance space around the oven is required.

submitted byKC - 2 years ago

Q: Can you use the grill plate in this model?

submitted by brc - 2 years ago
  • A: It has a 3 year warranty. Have you tried calling Cuisinart directly? I don’t have this unit but I’m thinking about buying it.

submitted byKaren Karen - 9 months ago
  • A: Thank you for your interest in the Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven. This unit does not have a grill function, and any grill plate designed for another unit will most likely not fit into this one.

Very Versatile Air-fryer/Oven

I’ve been using the Cuisinart CTOA-122 Air Fryer Toaster Oven for a while now, and it has quickly become one of the most used appliances in my kitchen. The air fryer function works really well—crispy fries, chicken, and vegetables come out perfectly without needing to preheat. It also toasts evenly and is very easy to clean, which is a big plus. The size is great for my counter space, and it’s versatile enough to replace several other appliances. I love that it has multiple functions in one compact unit. The only downside is that the exterior can get quite hot during use, so I have to be careful. Also, the baking results can be uneven for things like cookies or pizza. Overall, this is a great appliance if you want an air fryer and toaster oven combo that’s reliable and easy to use. I’d definitely recommend it for everyday cooking!

We are loving this appliance. We resisted trying an air fryer, but my daughter has this same one, and raved about it. We have already used it more than I ever thought we would. I am especially pleased at ease of clean up. As my daughter told me….. “ This will change your life!”

We've only used it twice, but so far, so good! I like that it's stainless steel so I don't have to worry about cancerous non-stick materials that might peel with time.

My daughter recommended the Cuisinart Air fryer has been the best one she’s owned. I bought one, and completely agree! The controls are easy to use and understand, the cleanup is easy, and the taste of the food has been amazing! We love French fries, and your product has been making the best fries we’ve had in a long time!

I have used my air fryer oven every night this week. It’s still very hot outside and I love that I don’t have to turn on the oven. It came at the same time my single toaster quit. I’ve been able to get rid of my tiny air fryer.

We have mostly used the toasting option and find it Brown’s toast between medium and dark. We were looking for a smaller model, but this has everything built into an efficiently sized countertop appliance. I am looking forward to trying the air fryer mode and found this particular model was a great value for the price.!

So far, we love it. We are still exploring other things we can use it for. Works great but we'd have paid more for a feature that would make the cooking surfaces dishwasher safe, even if they were aftermarket or available as a separate item. The toaster function is what we really wanted for a number or reasons.
