Electric kettles have been a mainstay in our kitchen for 30 years, and we have tried many brands. We recently stayed at an Airbnb that had this Cuisinart kettle and liked it so much we bought one as soon as we retuned home. We love the choice of heat settings and the keep hot function. It does cost a bit more than some kettles, but the value makes it worth the price.

I've been using one of these at least once a day for two years now, which is probably a positive data point as to its durability. One thing I find funny about electric kettles is that almost every one on the market has its own bizarre design quirk (or several). This kettle is no exception—although I still do find it fine and preferable to most others—because of the feature that when you take it off the base, pour out the water, and then put it back on, the default is for it to start heating again according to the previous setting. So, if there's no water in it, it gets super hot and starts beeping rapidly and making all sorts of ominous clicking and snapping noises. It is hard to imagine why the designers thought this was the correct default. Surely, most of the times one puts a kettle back on its base, it is because one is done using it.

Heats up fast, it's quiet and I'm enjoying the different temperature settings. The only drawback is the small opening for filling but other than that, it was well worth the price.

It works exactly as it’s promised. We enjoy evening tea daily. Maybe several times in a day.

The kettle is beautiful and works like a dream, but all of the plastic in the boiling chamber makes the water taste like chemicals. I have boiled countless batches of water and it still smells and tastes horrible! Very Disappointed! :(

We were looking to replace our water kettle as the handle of the old one broke. This being the third time we were in the market for a water kettle after various aspects stopped working or broke, we decided to look for a different brand. This kettle feels solid and sturdy. We were pleased with attachment of the lid being well designed hinges and the minimal plastic used in construction. I love that it holds the water temperature for me while I'm running around making breakfast for the family.

I love this kettle! It heats up quickly, and will keep water hot for me when I’m cooking. I love the different temperature settings.

My new electric tea kettle is a very welcome addition to my kitchen. Easy to use, I am savoring my morning cup of instant coffee and afternoon chai.

Faulty kettle leaked hot water all over first time use. Leaking from bottom directly on power cables. Boxed up but then told To get refund I had to submit photo of cut cable. Took charging unit apart to recycle and showed that in photo, did not give me my refund. Resubmitted new photo after assembling unit and cutting cable, still waiting for refund 1 week later. Why am I responsible for waste produced by Cuisinart.

Has many options for temp, does the job and with a sleek design

I never knew that certain types of teas (and french press coffee) brew best at certain temperatures. Since I acquired the Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Programmable Kettle I have discovered a whole new world of tea and coffee enjoyment. Teas, especially more delicate varieties, tastes so much better when brewed at the proper temperature. I can't even begin to tell you how amazing the difference in flavor is with this kettle. It is WELL worth the cost!

I bought this kettle 01/02/2024 and it stopped working today, 08/24/2025. Up until now, it worked just fine. It quickly heated water to the selected temperature and kept it at that temperature for several minutes while preparing pour-over coffee. Now the kettle's only use is as a water pitcher. Fortunately it is warranted for 3 years. We'll see how that goes...

I bought this kettle three years ago and has 2 good years of use. However, the lid began to get stuck and now won’t open. I also noticed rust started to develop around the lid rim. I’m disappointed that it didn’t last longer and now the price has gone up $60 from what I originally paid.

I really am impressed. This is by far the best water kettle I have ever bought. My wife and I enjoy that we can have our coffee just the right temp that each of us can enjoy.

Bought new a few years ago. Worked as advertised for a couple years. Now the unit has started boiling uncontrollably even if no buttons are pressed. In searching online, I see that this failure mode is so common as to be nearly inevitable, leading to enormous risks when the unit fails to stop heating. I do not recommend buying this dangerous kettle.

Works as promised. Heating 1.7L to 200 degrees using cold tap water takes about 6.5 minutes. Control settings and water level window work well. There is a feeling of quality that is missing in its competitors. Hoping its longevity justifies the price.

The kettle works great and looks very pretty. It has several settings for different types of teas. Very happy with my purchase
