Cuisinart Electric kettle
There are positives and negatives to this teapot. It is made entirely of stainless steel inside and outside, which can be a positive but the outside gets very hot and is not insulated so it is possible to get a burn if not careful. The water does boil quickly to the appropriate temperatures. The ability to turn off the unit was a little challenging until I got the hang of it, as there is no dedicated off button.

Works as expected
First time electric kettle user. Was a little surprised at the water heating noise, but that is normal (i mean, you want the water to get hot right?). I used both boil and the lower temps for herbal teas. I use this device about 10 times a day and no issues.

Kettle failed after 5 months
We bought this kettle to replace our old electric kettle, which we use a few times a day to make tea. We were initially pretty happy with it - the side indexing is easier to read, and the lower control panel keeps your hands away from the pot except when you're actually pouring. But after less then 5 months of service it died – put the pot back on the base after pouring water, and it was completely dead. The base lights up, and you can select (say) boil, but the kettle no longer gets hot and eventually times out with a beep and shuts itself down. Note that there was enough water to cover the temperature sensor in the pot when I first put it down, so this wasn't boil-dry protection kicking in (and that's pretty obvious). No leaks that I've been able to see since it died.

LEAKS! Don't waste your money!
LEAKS! This is the 2nd one we purchased. Water accumulates on the top of the heating base. Dry it. Water has accumulated again by the next day. We were so pleased with the operation and convenience of selecting different temperatures, we replaced the first leaky Prefect Temp Cordless Tea Pot with another one. Mistake! The first started leaking after about 18 months. The second one started leaking after 6 months!

Super accurate and easy to use
The PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle is very easy to use. Just press the button and it heats up very quickly. I confirmed the 6 preset temperatures were within 1 degree, per my ThermoWorks ThemaPen! I highly recommend this water kettle for its accuracy and ease of use.

Almost essential for the operation of our kitchen
We used the previous model extensively and, when it finally expired, we immediately replaced it. We're able to quickly get boiling water for cooking or pan-rinsing without using a stove burner and we can get a precise temperature appropriate for the tea we want to drink. Easy to read and easy to use.

Better Tea on the Way
Exactly what I needed. Has multiple settings to heat water for tea, and to hold it at that temperature. It turns itself off and is easy to work with, has clear design etc. This is what I was looking for to make better tea!

Only 2 years of moderate use
Has done the job for just under 2 years. Has some kind of electrical/programing error. We will go through warranty and see how their service is. Realistically, puts us in the position to have to just buy a new kettle for the meantime so kind of silly. Disappointing for things not to last - wasteful.

A Perfect Cup of Tea
The Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle is a great addition to my kitchen appliances! I love the various temperature selections and the “keep warm” feature. The stainless kettle with black details make a handsome combination and add a touch of elegance when serving tea. The quiet beeps when the water has reached the desired temperature is perfect. Nice temp control
The different temperature settings are nice since I don't always need boiling water. I assume this puts less stress on the mechanical parts, though I'm not sure about that. The blue light is confusing because it stays on after the kettle is done, and if you miss the beeping sound when it finishes, it's hard to tell if the kettle is still heating up or it's done.

My Favorite Kettle!
I have been using this kettle for years! I'm on my second one because my first finally gave out after years of constant use - this is not an exaggeration. I work from home and drink a lot of tea and coffee. This kettle is either boiling water or keeping it warm almost constantly throughout the day. It's big, the keep warm feature is great, and the variety of temperature settings is nice for when the water needs to be a bit cooler than boiling. I HIGHLY recommend this kettle!!

Auto shutoff failure
We had used this kettle for a while until recently when the auto shutoff feature ceased working. With the temperature set at 200 degrees, the kettle appears to function normally and there is an audible beep when the temperature is reached. Now, after the beep, the kettle continues to heat to a rolling boil and it never shuts down the heating element. I can select “START”, the lights turn off indicating it is off, but the rolling boil continues. If I unplug the appliance and plug it back in, the rolling boil commences again without selecting “START”. I have not let it boil dry to determine if the heating element remains on in a boil-dry condition.
