Q: I just bought this and the light won’t stop flashing so I can brew. It’s brand new what’s the problem?
A: Press the BREW/ CANCEL button. The LED indicator will start breathing and hot water will dispense into the cup Close the brew head. Once the brew head is closed, the BREW/ CANCEL LED indicator will remain solid, indicating the unit is ready. Press the BREW/CANCEL button to begin brewing. The beverage will start to dispense momentarily. The BREW/ CANCEL LED indicator will breathe slowly during the brewing cycle.

Q: Hello. 1. Does the Cuisinart Soho Single Serve SS-7BK contain PFAS? 2. Is it completly PBA free? 3. Can you brew with your own ground coffee (not in a K-cup)? Thanks.
A: The Soho coffeemaker does not contain PFAS and is BPA Free. This unit is compatible with most brands of single-cup pods, including Keurig K-Cup® pods. If you want to use your own grounds, you may prefer the DGB-2 coffeemaker from Cuisinart which offers a grind option and reusable filter. This is also available online and in stores at Target.

Q: We purchased this particular brew system this past January I am noticing what I believe is black mold in the water reservoir Has anyone else noticed this and what have you used to remove it -

Q: Is the brew strength adjustable, or are the brew strengths attached/locked to cup size?

Q: After coffee is done brewing does the brew/cancel light continue to blink? I thought I read it was supposed to shut off!
A: You have to give it 30 minutes. I guess it's to give you time to brew a second cup?

Q: Does this come with a capsule and filter for your own ground coffee ?
A: Lou, this unit is compatible with the Cuisinart HomeBarista Reusable Filter Cup which can be used to brew your own ground coffee. The HomeBarista is sold separately and can be purchased from Cuisinart.com. Hope this helps!
