of course Downy is always a win however I didn't like that I wasn't getting the original Downy quality with this one I appreciate that it has less ingredients that are harsh however it just wasn't the same Downy softener quality

I was so excited, but!!
I was so excited to find a Free and clear softenerAt first it was thick but I thought I wouldn’t have to use as much, but then I noticed that it wasn’t dissolving in the designated slot in my washing machine. I then added a little water to mix it up and it still would not dissolve., building up to where I had to clean the slot every other day. Terrible product

We're sorry to hear your Downy Free & Gentle Liquid Fabric Softener was too thick. To remove the thickness, mix a capful of product with 1/2 cup of warm water until well blended. The resulting mixture would be approximately 3 medium load doses. Any liquid fabric softener can build up in a dispenser over time because a small amount is left behind after each use and dries in the dispenser. To help remove this buildup, we recommend consulting your machine's manual for the best cleaning instructions. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we'd like to learn more about your experience.
