Drano® Snake Plus Drain Cleaning Kit is a simple, two part solution for unclogging your drain. Drano® paired a 23-inch flexible snake drain clog remover tool with its most powerful drain opener gel to clear your drain the first time guaranteed or it’s free. See snake unclogger packaging for more details. Use the snake drain cleaner tool to knock clogs loose, then pour Drano® Hair Buster Gel down your drain to clear the clog away. The concentrated gel pours straight through standing water and works fast to restore your drain to a free-flowing state. Drano® Snake Plus is tough on hair, soap scum, and other gunk, but safe for all pipes. Our pipe unclogger tool kit works best when used together on stubborn bathtub clogs, slow draining showers, and more. Clogs happen, but with Drano® you and your drains are unstoppable.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: STEP 1: Use the 23-inch tool to loosen the clog. Insert the tool into the drain opening as far as it will go. Never force the tool into the drain. Note: some drain stoppers may need to be removed to accommodate the tool. Move the tool up and down two inches to better loosen the clog. Carefully remove the tool from the drain as there may be attached clog material. For sanitary purpose, immediately dispose of the tool before proceeding to Step 2. Do not attempt to use the tool after pouring the clog remover down the drain, as the gel could splash up during tool use. STEP 2: Pour the concentrate gel down the drain to clean out clog material. After discarding the tool, slowly pour entire contents of the bottle down the drain. Allow the gel to work for 30 minutes. Flush with hot water to clean away any remaining clog material.

If you can completely run three gallons of water down the drain, then using another cleaner can be used. The gel cleaner by itself worked great but the tool it came with is an added bonus that grabbed a ton of hair that was trapped in the pipe. The scent wasn't overwhelming, it was a little chemical smelling which is to be expected.

For a mild clog in the drain this product works well, however the red plastic snake is useless, it gets stuck and does not pull much out. The liquid gel however did a decent job of unclogging a mild blockage in my bathroom sink.

The plastic snake was easy to use, just shove it down the drain, twist a bit, and pull out the stuff clogging up the drain. Followed it up with the gel and let it sit. Within 30 minutes, the clog was gone and the sink drained like new. Not a magic fix for super tough clogs, but for hair and gunk buildup, it does the job. Quick, cheap, and way easier than calling a plumber.

It's a 2 step system that starts with the snake and is followed by the gel concentrate. The snake is very easy to use and should be long enough for most household piping. It's single use only. The gel takes half an hour to work then you flush it with hot water and that's it! The gross factor is there with using the snake but it's gotta be done. Overall very effective.

I like the snake it comes with but again, it isn’t much different than a generic one. For whatever reason, the smell is quite nice but I don’t think a chemical as harmful as this should smell nice? Our shower drain gets so gross when clogged so this was a great opportunity to try another type of tool to unclog it. I used the snake to get majority of the hair and the gel to finish the job. I havent seen any issues yet. This is affordable and doesn't smell too bad

The water drains and then it clogs up again in a week. This one is different. It's been 3 weeks and the water drains without issue. I took pictures throughout the process, but the thing I pulled out of the sink was so disgusting, I've decided not to post it. But I can absolutely see why I've had a continuous problem. The whole process took about 20 minutes, with most of that time spent just letting the drano sit in the drain. 2 swipes was all it took with the snake. I highly recommend this product, as I've tried many brands and this one is way ahead.

I used it on my sink, and it was a little difficult to push the red snake down the pipe because my sink has a drain topper that I couldn't get off. After a lot of elbow grease, I was able to get it to unclog the sink. Now I want to try it in the bathtub. That is where the hair monsters lie.
