Dyson Purifier Big and Quiet Formaldehyde BP03: HEPA Filter, Captures Allergens, Electric, 10 Settings

This air purifier has been nothing short of life-changing. I have struggled with sleep for over 20 years. I wake up in the middle of the night and can' go back to sleep. I haven't awoken feeling refreshed and energized in that many years either. I've tried allergy testing, sleep studies, other air purifiers, weighted blankets, cooling blankets, supplements, sleeping alone and nothing has worked that well... until now. I have no idea why/how Dyson has the magic formula, but all I can say is that I went from 9-15 minutes of deep sleep a night to 60-80 minutes, and I've had "Dyson" less than a month. I've experimented with the included fan capabilities and found that I like 0 degrees the best (which essentially blows right at bed level). It is whisper quiet (I keep it at level 3 and seriously BARELY know it's on and it's only a few feet from me due to the layout of our bedroom). I like the Alexa capability because I'll turn it on from the kitchen before I go to bed to allow the air to be cleaned as I wind down. I love the app that shows the allergen, particulate matter, VOC levels and I love to watch how quickly those levels lower when my new best friend, Dyson, is turned on. While it is gigantic, I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic air purification system and possibly a miracle sleep aid for you!

Coverage, Filtration, noise, design, formaldehyde..

I bought this item about 3 weeks ago. Since then, I put it in auto mode and set the timing for night mode. It runs pretty well. However, the wifi connection to my google smart home system keeps on dropping. Even as I’m writing this review, my smart home app still reflect it as “offline”. To reconnect, I will have to power off the item, wait a bit, & then turn it on back. Hopefully, Dyson can do something about its wifi connectivity issue.

Had it less than a month, and had to turn it off because of a foul odor the filter is producing.

The coverage is excellent, the noise is less than any other devise and the design is perfect. The filtrations system to handle anything including the formaldehyde. You can smell how clean the air is. The best air purifier yet and I've tried them all!

I purchased this a month ago and it works great and looks fantastic in our room. I like the breeze setting and the auto mode. Also the app is good to display the results.

Love this machine, it appears to have reduced creosote smell from fireplace that we prevously had on damp days. It runs quiet and I love the app and ability to change settings remotely.

I think, I might have had too high an expectation on this BP04 unit. From the marketing material I had the impression that it could clean the air within an hour. It really doesn't do that.

I bought this two months ago because I needed an air filter and a fan. It does both jobs exceedingly well. The ability to change the fan output angle is fabulous so it’s not too strong. Glad I invested as it’s a big improvement in design from prior models.

Beautiful design and quiet operation, love having it on automatic to change speed based on what it detects. Helps purify a large area, great coverage. Quality engineering and beautiful design.
