I am really happy with the air purifier. It shows me when the air in the house is not so good. it surprises me that air quality is poor especially when I cook! It is very quiet which means I can leave it on for longer periods. The night mode is also excellent and causes no disturbance at all.
Worth every penny.

I purchased this as it had good reviews! The air flow on this is pretty poor, I’d probably get better from a cheap fan. This is definitely more of an air purifier rather than a fan. I wouldn’t recommend this to keep you cool

The airflow seems to be better than most fans and it does cool the room down. It does get noisy when run at higher speeds but mid range is reasonably bearable. The coverage of the flow has been kept at 90 degrees and that's quite adequate.

I’m quite confused by this product and the marketing around it. Should they be allowed to market it as “cool” air? Bought it during a heatwave to help cool down and clean the air especially of cooking smells. The fan element is shockingly weak and certainly not cool air at all. A tower fan I bought from a supermarket for under 30 pounds offers more of a breeze. I also didn’t feel that the fan did much to get rid of cooking smells or smoke from our downstairs neighbour coming into our flat which was one of the primary reasons I wanted it (aside from the promise of “cool” air). We returned this and bought an air conditioning unit instead for the same price. Much better.

This purifier is ok - I question the reliability of the sensors because almost every time I turn the purifier on, the air quality worsens which I find very strange. Not worth the cost, disappointing. The fan is also pretty terrible.

I just purchased this Dyson air purifier from Target. Although it was brand new and sealed, I later noticed it was manufactured back in 2021. Right after unboxing and turning it on, I was hit with a strong, unpleasant chemical smell—almost like plastic or glue—that quickly filled the room. The smell seems to be coming directly from the filter, possibly due to the unit being boxed up for several years. I’ve only used it for a few hours, but the odor hasn’t gone away and is honestly quite irritating. I expected the air to feel cleaner, not worse. This was surprising and disappointing for a premium brand like Dyson. There’s no warning about this issue on the packaging or product page. At this price point, it’s frustrating to think I might now have to buy a replacement filter just to get the product to work as intended. If you’re buying this, check the manufacturing date and be aware that you might need to air it out or swap the filter right away.
