Q: The remote buttons trigger the same movement with the arms and the wheels don't actually move. Also, the robots aren't powerful enough to knock each other over. Is this accurate, or did I get a lemon?

A: We've had the same experience. There's not much power to these at all but our 3-year-old is having fun. I don't think they'd be entertaining for 6+.

Their aesthetic is the only thing they have going for them. No power to them and too slow to knock over the opponent.

My son just bought these with birthday money and they didn’t work at all. Neither bot rolled forward, and the red one barely even moved its arms. Really disappointing for what used to be a quality brand of toys!

Wow— I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this item in store. My son bought this with some birthday money, which he was very excited about! As soon I we unpackaged them and installed the batteries, we found that the red robot was not functioning. Such a disappointment for us both! Now we have to drive back to Target to return. Don’t waste your time with this one.

Christmas gift my sons never got to play with due to faulty hardware. A screw would not come out of one of the robots for us to be able to install the batteries. It just kept turning without loosening enough to come out. We tried everything to get it out as they had already ripped the box apart and thrown it outside. So, we did not want to go through the hassle of returning them as they were really excited to play with them.

I see this item has a ton of negative reviews but that has not been our experience. We have had this item since Christmas of 2023 and the robots and remotes work without issue. My kids have a ton of fun with these guys!

This broke after a week. One of the remotes stopped working out of nowhere. Ok, it’s still a nice looking toy that my kids played with even if its main function didn’t work. Then after one dropped on the ground, an arm broke off. This all happened within the week of purchasing.

I had a disappointed 10 year old at Christmas because only one of the robots worked. I did not find out until yesterday about this or I would have tried to return it but since it was at Christmas, I have no packaging nor do I know if they kept them due to not working. I will pay more attention to reviews next time.

Came here to see better reviews after purchasing a year ago but just as everyone else says and I agree with them all, this toy is awful, waste of money. Not sure how it’s even being sold still, the robots don’t work even after replacing the batteries. Sad because it looks like a fun, old school style toy.

These don’t work! The remote controls don’t work. The robots don’t move up or down as the remote says you can. The don’t punch when you click the buttons. RARELY one robot will work. Very disappointed and I threw the box away and am STILL going to try to return them. They are absolutely useless. We were so sad about this.

Defective product, did not perform at all as described. Only one remote worked at a time (and even that was intermittent), no way for 2 players to interact. Very frustrating and disappointing for my 2 grandkids. Returned and exchanged the first one, second one that we brought home still didn’t work, got a refund on that one.

Fun concept but right from the start both robots wouldn’t move forward, backward, or turn. The momentum from their punches will move them a little bit but it’s unfortunate that they don’t work correctly.

My parents bought this for my son. We opened the first set on Christmas and the blue robot didn't work at all and the red barely worked. It was outside the return window so my parents shipped a second set to my son that also didn't work at all, just like every other review from the last few months. Clearly the product is defective.

Was held together by packaging, and once we got it out one of the robots was completely busted. Clear the quality was poor and not sure how the design makes sense for battling robots. My 4 year old was so disappointed. Really put a damper on Christmas morning. Returning and will not be buying a replacement.

I just put brand new batteries in them. (They were my kids christmas gift) and the red robot won't turn on at all. It turned on for a second while I was still putting batteries in the blue one and now the red one won't turn on at all.
