I really wanted to love this. I've been trying to avoid too many plastic toys so i thiught thia wooden one would be perfect. The quality is great, but it is a bit on the small side. And some of the shapes can be stacked on other shapes post. So it doesn't help sorting if the triangle fits on triangle and circle posts.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect toy for your little one to play with in the go, sitting at the table or really just about anywhere. This classic toy is so easy to pack in your bag and take with you. Very educational and helps to build hand eye coordination and enhance small motor skills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All three of my children enjoy playing with the different shapes and stacking them. Not only did they stack them on the given base but they also got creative and built “towers” and other structures using their imaginations. Warning - my 5 year old’s finger fits perfectly in the holes of the shapes and it got stuck, so make sure to monitor your kids’ playing with this. It’s a very simple but fun toy, many colors and shapes. Great tool for learning!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome, well made toy! The rings are small enough to be a challenge and make the toy usable for longer; but they’re big enough and smooth that younger babies can practice their fine motor skills. It’s very well made and feels expensive. It feels and looks more like a boutique toy than Fisher Price. Very cute!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 and 6 year old ply with this, not just my toddler. It’s smaller and light, which I actually like. The wood poles for the shapes to go on are attached by elastic which prevents them from breaking off.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cute stacking toy! The colors are bright and fun. It is a little smaller than I was expecting, but will store better that way. I am saving it for a treat on a hot day later this summer so it hasn’t been played with yet but my daughter loves to stack and put things into slots so I think it will be a hit!

Wooden Shapes Stacking Toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this product free to share my honest review. This wooden shape stacking toy is cute for toddlers around 2.5 years and up. There are four pegs to stack the different shapes on (triangle, square, rectangle, and circle) with 3 different colors for each shape. The shapes are good size so I wasn’t concerned about them being a choking hazard. The pegs have elastics in them so they can bend/move and aren’t fixed in place. The rectangle could fit on any peg so that can be confusing for toddlers. My toddler enjoyed figuring out which pieces stack on the pegs and my older children enjoyed helping her and stacking them too. For storage purposes, it needs to be on a flat shelf or in a bin with a top because of the 12 shape pieces included.

Great Fun and Helps Develop Fine Motor Skills

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product for little ones to help with their developmental growth. I have a special needs child and this is one of the few toys that he does not become frustrated with while trying to get the correct shapes on the pegs. He will sit in his high chair for at least an hour and work so hard to get all the pieces where they belong. The pegs also bend a bit, so this is a great help instead of them just being straight up. It is still a challenge for him at times, but where they bend it helps him get his hands positioned to complete the task. He loves the colors of the wooden shapes and enjoys making patterns with them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is good to use for small kids and does not make a mess. The pieces are big enough to play with safely and it’s not too complicated for young infants. The colors are nice. The wobbling effect is not necessary.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is very engaging for my little one. This has improved his motor skills and taking quite a liking to it. The wooden bar stick that holds up the shapes bends down, so it doesn’t hurt my child in case he accidentally falls on it.

Fine motor fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cute and functional toy. My 6 year old daughter is disabled and she has been using this to improve her fine motor skills. She has to manipulate the pieces to fit the correct shaped peg. The colors are bright and playful and the entire thing is made of wood that is varnished so that little ones do not get hurt. It is great for toddlers and older, children needing to work on fine motor skills or just have fun stacking. It is very small so good for traveling with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My newly-minted five year old son received Fisher-Price Wooden Shape Stacker Toddler Sorting Toy, 13 Wood Pieces and immediately loved the colorful blocks. My son tried putting the shapes (square, triangle, circle) into different pegs, but noticed that they were shaped to specifically hold one shape. (Eg, the peg that holds the triangles is triangular shaped.). He thought that was interesting and liked the challenge. My son stacked them in different color patterns- all the reds, then the yellows, finally the greens. After that, he mixed up the order and did it again. Then he stacked by pattern- dots, stripes, solids. He also used them in the backs of his trucks or tried to stack them by themselves on the table. He didn’t seem to be overly interested in the set though. I think he would have loved a toy like this when he was a year or two old. The holes in the center would help little hands hold the pieces. He did, however, like the idea of it and enjoyed naming the shapes, but he told me that something like this toy would be better for his younger cousin. I appreciate the sturdiness of Fisher-Price Wooden Shape Stacker Toddler Sorting Toy, 13 Wood Pieces, and how good it looks! This toy would look very nice on a child’s playroom shelf, ready to play with! It’s well made and put up very well with my son’s continuous loading and unloading into trucks! I imagine that it would last a very long time. It is also a good toy for children who appreciate quieter toys that allow you to use your imagination. Overall, my son said he liked Fisher-Price Wooden Shape Stacker Toddler Sorting Toy, 13 Wood Pieces, but he got bored of it quickly probably because of his age.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a mini version of the shape and peg toys out there. Something I found interesting is that the pegs were also different shapes, so on top of the actual shape blocks matching, you have to match the peg shape too. The kids liked the size of the shapes since they fit nicely in their hands and they were drawn to it even if the TV was on. The packaging is very minimal but sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really sweet and simple but a lot of fun for the little ones. Helps so much with learning colors, shapes, puzzles, matching, and visual special skills and reasoning. I gave this to my niece to enjoy as my 3 year is too old for this but it’s perfect for the 1-2yr old range IMO.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, in my opinion this is an example of Montessori. The product is very durable, big enough so the pieces can not be swallowed. The stand may be perceived as flimsy but its connect by rubber roping, my assumption. Which is was a great design
