HOW TO USE:
STEP 1: PINCH YOUR DISC
First, wash your hands. Pinch the disc in half (it may look big, but once pinched it’s about the size of a tampon).

STEP 2: GET READY TO INSERT
Take a breath and relax! Get into a comfortable position—you can try sitting on the toilet, squatting with your legs open, or standing with one leg up.

STEP 3: INSERT THE DISC
Insert the pinched disc down and back towards your tailbone as far back as it will comfortably go. Then, tuck the front rim of the disc up behind your pubic bone.

STEP 4: 12-HOUR WEAR
Experience freedom. Do everything you love to do when you're not on your period—swim, sleep, squat, study, or summit. Heavy flow? No problem. Flex Discs can self-empty when you pee. This means you'll never have to walk around with a full disc all day. After you pee or poo, use a clean finger to simply tuck the disc back into place and you're set for the remainder of your 12-hour wear.

*Please follow the full Instructions for Use within the box prior to use.

Q: Do these work well for women with a low cervix?

submitted by Huggs - 7 years ago
  • A: There's a great chance the discs could work for you! We worked hard to be as inclusive as possible––they were designed to fit 95% of anatomies. :)

submitted byThe Flex Company - 3 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: It's always worth a try. No single disc or cup will fit every single woman. It worked for a stage one prolapsed uterus, it just reduced capacity due to the cervix resting in the disc more.

submitted byscreen name - 4 years ago
  • A: I have one and it works for me.

Q: Can you have intercourse while wearing these and is your partner able to feel it?

submitted by Anonymous - 5 years ago
  • A: I’m curious to this too. I would be scared to puncture the plastic just with little force. It doesn’t seem thick.

    submitted byKay26 - 8 months ago
  • A: Yes, you absolutely can have intercourse while wearing the Flex Discs. If the disc is inserted properly, neither you nor your partner should be able to feel it. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our Flexperts at hello@flexfits.com. We're here to help!

Q: Are these reusable or one time use only?

submitted by Kadiekins - 7 years ago
  • A: These are for one time use only, you throw them away afterwards!

submitted byhannalizzy - 7 years ago
  • A: One time use, they're discarded afterwards. They can be work up to 12 hours though.

submitted byStephBlu - 7 years ago
  • A: You're SUPPOSED to throw them away every time but I'll usually rinse one and use it again. I haven't used one more than twice, though.

submitted byAri - 6 years ago
  • A: Flex Discs are disposable, not reusable. After 12 hours of wear, you remove the disc, dispose of it, then insert a new one.

Q: Hi, What is different between FLEX menstrual discs and Cervical Cap?

submitted by Cervical Cap - 6 years ago
  • A: The main difference is the purpose of the products. FLEX Disc is a menstrual product made to catch period blood. FLEX Disc is not a contraceptive device and does not protect against STI's or pregnancy. Please only use FLEX Disc as directed! A Cervical Cap is a contraceptive device.

Q: Do you take out the disc when you go to the bathroom to go pee amd poo?

submitted by Lita - 6 months ago
  • A: Hi Lita - Great question! There is no need to remove your disc when you go to the bathroom. That said, when you actively & intentionally bear down on your pelvic floor muscles like you do when you poop, or when you relax those muscles to pee, your disc will shift forward slightly and empty out into the toilet. When you're done using the restroom, you'll just want to use a clean finger to push the disc back into place behind your pubic bone - then you should be good to go for the rest of your 12-hour wear. Easy peasy!

Q: Are you able to wear flex discs in a hot tub?

submitted by Kiki D - 5 years ago
  • A: Because the disc does not sit inside of the vaginal canal, it’s free of obstruction. This makes the disc extremely comfortable and allows you to do whatever you gotta do- including enjoying a dip in the hot tub!

Q: Can teens use this or is if only adults?

submitted by Erebellah - 6 years ago
  • A: Great Question! Anyone who menstruates can use our products. However, they may not be the best for teens who are on the smaller side for their age group. Something to keep in mind is that our products are inserted without the use of an applicator so there may be a bit of a learning curve for younger teens. If you are unsure we recommend discussing with a trusted doctor.

Q: How do you use this product?

submitted by JD2016 - 7 years ago
  • A: Hi there! To insert FLEX Discs, you'll pinch the disc and push it down and back into the vaginal fornix. The discs collect period blood at the base of the cervix. They can be worn for 12hrs. Once 12hrs are up, you'd remove the disc and dispose of it in the waste bin. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our FLEXperts at hello@flexfits.com

It’s hypoallergenic, BPA & phthalate-free, silicone-free and made without natural rubber latex. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to one of our FLEXperts at hello@flexfits.com.

Better than tampons

They’re very comfortable and don’t leak. I love that you can wear for 12 hours and you can empty it without taking it out by bearing down when using the bathroom. Highly recommend these. Even better than cups because with those you have to take them out to empty

I've used discs before, but these are hard to position and leak. You definitely feel it the whole time its in.
1 reply from The Flex Company team - 3 days ago
We're sorry these discs haven't been as comfortable or reliable as you'd hoped, especially since you're already familiar with using menstrual discs! When properly placed, Flex Disc shouldn't be noticeable during wear, so the discomfort and leaking you're describing may indicate a fit or placement issue. We'd love to share some tips tailored to your experience, so please reach out by email at help@flexfits.com or by text at 800-931-0882.

First time user, will buy again.

Sort of like a drip pan… for your last bits. lol. This is my first time using this product. While I admit, it is a little bit of a learning curve figuring out exactly how to place this, once it’s in it’s pretty good. You don’t feel it, no having to pull out a dry tampon, and no horrible wet feeling like you get with just a pad. I do recommend pairing this with a pad, at least at first while figuring out how this works. As someone with a history of extremely heavy cycles, I am a little apprehensive to use only this simply because I’m not that used to it yet, but I can see this as being able to be used on its own in the future. For the first time ever I feel clean on my period instead of like wet mess. Embarrassing but true. I have in the past tried a diva cup, which in comparison the is much easier to use.

Awful

Worst period product I have ever tried! Leaked every time I peed, sneezed, or farted. Do NOT recommend unless you enjoy a mess.
1 reply from The Flex Company team - 17 days ago
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re sorry Flex Disc left you frustrated! Some self-emptying while using the bathroom is normal. When you relax your pelvic floor muscles to pee, the disc can shift forward and release some of its contents into the toilet. Leaking with sneezing or other movement may just mean the disc isn’t securely tucked back behind the pubic bone; after self-emptying, using a clean finger, or doing a few kegels, to get it back into place is key! For more tips, or if you'd like to troubleshoot further, reach us by email at help@flexfits.com or by text at 800-931-0882.

It should not get stuck.

I tried it on my first day of my period and absolutely loved it, no leaks and stayed in for a full 12 hours. I applied it the second day with only minor leaks on the 4th day however, it was doing perfect no leaks but had lodged itself inside of me, yes the “if it’s stuck just relax” is literally lies!!! I had spent and hour trying to get it out, I was finally able to get it out with a toothbrush, literally a murder scene around me. So if it gets stuck just shove that tooth brush up and get it out, I tried out a different brand and it’s actually working so much better and NOT GETTING STUCK

Hi Lauren - We’re sorry to hear you had such a difficult removal experience, especially after the disc worked so well for you initially. We’d really like to learn more about what happened and help with removal techniques, but please do not use a toothbrush, tools, or other objects to remove a disc, as this could damage the disc or cause injury. Please connect with our Flexperts by email at help@flexfits.com or text us at 800-931-0882 so we can learn more and help.

Once you figure out how to use these, it's just amazing and makes perfect sense. The auto-empty process is also amazing once you get the hang of it. The removal requires sink access and privacy so do it at home, hotel room, etc.

Overflowing

It is not leak proof. I woke up in the morning with it overflowing. My first night is the heaviest. I need a pad the first night. I tried this. When I woke up to go to the bathroom it was overflowing.
1 reply from The Flex Company team - 2 months ago
Hi Nala - thanks for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're sorry to hear you had issues with leaking. On heavier flow days, you may find that you need to empty your disc more often in order to comfortably wear it for the full 12 hours. Depending on how heavy your flow is, that might mean wearing a pad or period underwear as backup if you choose to wear a disc overnight on those days (otherwise you may need to get up during the night to empty). The good news is that the disc has a convenient self-emptying feature that can make this quick and easy! While using the restroom, gently bear down to help the front rim of the disc slip out from behind your pubic bone. This can allow some of the contents to empty directly into the toilet, without having to fully remove and reinsert your disc. Once you're finished, simply use a clean finger to tuck the disc back into place behind your pubic bone, and you're all set! If you have any questions or would like to talk more about your experience, we're always happy to help. You can reach us anytime at help@flexfits.com or text us at 800-931-0882.

Best thing to happen to me

Best thing to happen to me as a heavy period girly. I used to have to use an ultra tampon plus a pad. With his product I don’t even need a pad just the disc. Absolutely a game changer and very beginner friendly. Instructions are clear and helpful

A TOTAL GAME CHANGER!

I absolutely love the Flex Disposable Discs! I’ve tried the regular Flex Disc, but I find these so much easier to insert. The design makes the whole process feel much simpler and less intimidating, especially when you’re first getting used to menstrual discs. Once it’s in, I honestly forget I’m even wearing it. No bulky feeling, no worrying about constantly changing a tampon, and I love the freedom and convenience it gives me throughout the day. The fact that they’re disposable also makes them incredibly convenient when I’m traveling or just don’t want to deal with cleaning a reusable disc. For me, the biggest selling point is how easy they are to insert compared with the regular Flex Disc. They’ve made my period routine SO much easier, and I genuinely wish I had discovered them sooner. I’m definitely a Flex Disc convert!

Pass the learning curve and its worth it!

THE PINCH IS SO IMPORTANT! First one I kind of wasted because I took it out after swimming the 2nd round my fingers slipped and it sprung open and tore my bottom it was minor but that was user error once you get the hang of it! It will bend to fit you it does hurt coming out because it’s big but that’s why I’m writing this review once you get over that hurdle THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!!!!!! I had two children and tampons hurt so bad I’m so happy I found something totally hygienic to use while swimming.

these are okay

I couldn't find my usual brand so I decided to try these ones and I regret my decision. If these are the first discs you try there not bad because you have nothing to comaprs them too, but I promise you there are better ones. the hard rim is uncomfortable and my other brand the rim is softer and you don't feel them at all.

SUCH A GREAT SURPRISE!

Never used anything like this before and I’m hooked. I can’t feel them, I steered right the first try after watching the video and I never wanna go back to tampons. Tampons gave me a pressure feeling and I don’t like changing so often (will not pee with one in).

Flex discs for period

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material is kinda weird lol it’s my first time using this because I’ve been pregnant and didn’t need to use it yet. But it’s easy to do, no set up at all just put it in and that’s that. It works pretty well I was surprised. May start using in near future.

Better than tampons convinient for some days that pads are not an option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just like the period cup easy to insert and comfortable to wear and last much longer than tampon leaves no scent trail unlike pads we know what period odor is like, no reason to make noise when using. Here is the thing it’s trial and error to remove and maybe for some we may make some mess at first but do to all it’s benefits worth the practice.

Solid product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these for free in exchange for an honest review. I felt that these lacked the flexibility of other disc brands I’ve tried, which made it harder to insert and remove them. They do offer leakproof protection once you get the disc seated properly.
