Used it as soon as I got it. Worked great for my sciatic pain! Perfect size, material not too stiff and the texture helps holding it.

Love this thing! Super helpful in relieving tension and getting knots out. A lot more firm than a tennis ball, but has more give than a softball or baseball.
Small Price Big payback

I hardly ever write a review. I have had pain in my levator scapulae / rhomboid minor region (I only know these names because I needed to know how to solve my pain areas… I’ve had this pain for a long while now. My muscle hook barely did anything for it. (Muscle hook is good though, for other regions I guess) but I tried this massage ball out and I have to say IMMEDIATELY relief! You gotta know how to rotate for it to be effective. I was concerned that it would be too soft since some of the reviews mentioned that but It didn’t even slightly indent. It held form the entire time. Highly recommend!

I originally purchased this for release techniques during a postpartum ab rehab program, but my husband actually stole it from me to use to roll his feet because he has bad plantar fasciitis. This has helped his symptoms so much! Nothing else really worked for him until he consistently used this every morning to roll under his feet.
Really good value

Okay so, I bought this for my plantar fascitis because it was actually cheaper than a tennis ball, or one of those rubber "Pinky" balls and I'm actually pretty surprised at how well its been working. Yeah, its not life-changing or anything, but it is pretty good for that specific purpose, and (after disinfecting the massage ball ofc) also good for massaging your own hands/wrists and for me, the parts of my chest that are regaining feeling post-surgery (also wow how do i change my screen name on here)
Does ok for the price

Not bad for the price. Not my ultimate favorite for deep pressure release. TriggerPoint MB1 is the ultimate but this ball is still helpful in a pinch.

Would not recommend. Too soft to get to sore muscles. Also bit slipper so I kept sliding off.

Calling it as i see it - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
Smaller than expected but does the job., if you manually press yourself against it. I thought it would actually massage/vibrate. I guess for $5 what did I expect. Compared to another brand I pd $1.99 for it was on clearance from $19.99 ( or mis- priced) but it vibrates, has several settings, rechargeable & much larger. I'll be returning this ball- I use tennis balls for this same type of muscle recovery
Not firm enough for me

This might work for you if you need a less intense massage, but if you need something that really digs in deep, this is not it. It's not very firm.
Great for muscle pains

I use this for a number of areas - foot, back, and hip pain. Much better than using a tennis ball in my opinion.

Purchased this massage ball to keep at work, and it is great! I’m a petite woman, and this gets right into the upper back areas that I struggle with knots. I like the ridges on this too for extra massaging. For the price, you definitely can’t go wrong! Buying another to have at home with my other massage ball.

I use this ball slightly moving against a wall to massage onto the trigger point in my back. It helps to relieve my neck and shoulder pain due to poor posture.

i purchased this ball mainly to use on the soles of my feet, and it works well for that. it is harder than a tennis ball and works better than a racquetball. I run often, which can lead to mild foot pain, and this was helpful for relieving tightness. It would also work well for glutes, but haven't tried that yet.
Would be better if it was firmer

I've suffered from lower back pain for years, and am prone to developing knots in my lower back. Years ago and physical therapist recommended using a lacrosse ball against a wall to roll out some of the knots in my back, which works wonders. I can never seem to find a lacrosse ball when I need it, so I picked up this massage ball thinking it would be a suitable replacement in a pinch. It's not great, but it's not awful. It's made out of a very rigid foam material so it's tough, but it's not tough enough when you're trying to work out a really stubborn knot. I'll stick with the lacrosse balls.
