Calling it as i see it - 3 months ago, Verified purchaser
Smaller than expected but does the job., if you manually press yourself against it. I thought it would actually massage/vibrate. I guess for $5 what did I expect. Compared to another brand I pd $1.99 for it was on clearance from $19.99 ( or mis- priced) but it vibrates, has several settings, rechargeable & much larger. I'll be returning this ball- I use tennis balls for this same type of muscle recovery

Not firm enough for me

This might work for you if you need a less intense massage, but if you need something that really digs in deep, this is not it. It's not very firm.

I use this for a number of areas - foot, back, and hip pain. Much better than using a tennis ball in my opinion.

Great for glutes, not so much for shoulders

This ball is excellent for massaging tight glutes. It’s firmer than my trigger point ball and the ridges are better at finding the knots. I can’t seem to get it to stay in place to roll my shoulders or else I would have given five stars.

Purchased this massage ball to keep at work, and it is great! I’m a petite woman, and this gets right into the upper back areas that I struggle with knots. I like the ridges on this too for extra massaging. For the price, you definitely can’t go wrong! Buying another to have at home with my other massage ball.

I use this ball slightly moving against a wall to massage onto the trigger point in my back. It helps to relieve my neck and shoulder pain due to poor posture.

i purchased this ball mainly to use on the soles of my feet, and it works well for that. it is harder than a tennis ball and works better than a racquetball. I run often, which can lead to mild foot pain, and this was helpful for relieving tightness. It would also work well for glutes, but haven't tried that yet.

I've suffered from lower back pain for years, and am prone to developing knots in my lower back. Years ago and physical therapist recommended using a lacrosse ball against a wall to roll out some of the knots in my back, which works wonders. I can never seem to find a lacrosse ball when I need it, so I picked up this massage ball thinking it would be a suitable replacement in a pinch. It's not great, but it's not awful. It's made out of a very rigid foam material so it's tough, but it's not tough enough when you're trying to work out a really stubborn knot. I'll stick with the lacrosse balls.

This is one of my favorite things to work out the knots all over my body. Roll along quads, put on table & roll out knots in forearms etc. even tucked behind neck at base of skull while sitting to give little reverse stretch to neck after long day. Relieved tight muscles preventing headaches. Roll for feet - whatever you want. Texture adds to assist in getting at spots that smooth massage balls don’t quite get to. You’ll be happy with this one!

Not so sure of the effectiveness of this ball. Used to try and improve muscle tightness that was being experienced in legs but didn’t really notice that much improvement when I used it. Perhaps just wasn’t the most effective method for what I was experiencing.

Meh. Maybe it's me and I'm using it wrong? But this doesn't seem to help much on sore muscles. If anything, my hand ends up hurting from rubbing the ball in bc it's too hard and textured funny. Maybe if it was a little softer?

I’m not really sure how to use this massage ball, I honestly thought it was a little bigger but it fits into the palm of my [very small] hand. I have used to roll on my husbands back and he has found it helpful but it’s awkward to use because it is so small. it does seem to do a good job kneading tension and saves hand strength. If this is how it is supposed to work, then I love it!

Foot arch pain gone

This little ball has been a gift after long days out walking or after work. I regularly use insoles and orthopedic shoes but long standing or walking times can really do a number on my arches. This ball is the perfect size to roll my feet out much more comfortably than smaller ones. Also great for rolling my back out up against a wall.

Great for soothing my muscles after exercising and getting out the stiffness. It’s small in size being 3” in diameter but I use it to help relax my back by rolling On it on my yoga mat. It’s firm but made out of a foam construction. It’s easy to clean and easy to use. Would recommend!

Very helpful for rolling out your whole body from feet to neck, but it’s quite firm when I use it on my back and neck on the floor it’s too much weight even supporting myself with my legs and abs and bruises me, but if you use a wall or just apply pressure with your hand it’s great
