Q: Is it normal for my baby to show 100-104 on her belly/armpit then show normal healthy temp on her forehead/ears, pretty much normal everywhere else I measure?

  • A: Kimberly our infrared thermometer is calibrated to measure your little one's temp on their forehead only. The thermometer should be placed about 1/2" away from the skin in the middle of the forehead.

  • A: Yes, but we recommend not measuring the temp as the water is coming out of the faucet. Measure the temp of the water that is in the tub.

    Disgusting market and horribke product

    Horrible product broken and inaccurate temps that will make you think you are going crazy, not to mention there marketing practices that are not only strongly inappropriate in today’s day and age but disgusting I recommend they get both on there marketing and product DO NOT BUY!

    Not worth buying

    Do not buy this! Just tried to take my babies temp and got readings from 97-101 with this thermometer. How is that possible?! This has left me feeling terrified she has a fever and no way to double check. Do yourself a favor and buy a rectal thermometer for your baby instead of freaking out with this when you need it.

    Lackluster

    This is such a frustrating thermometer! I’ve had one replaced already and the newer one is no better. It says a forehead reading in the fever range but an ear reading well below. No way to know whats true.

    THIS IS DANGEROUS!!!

    Do not buy. I got it in baby shower. Have had it 7 months. FOR FORTY DOLLSRS IT FING BREAKS. ITS SAYING my baby has a temp of ONE HUNDRED AND FIVE. I freaked out, drove straight to ER.

    Inconsistent readings. Can get readings from green to red back to back. Terrible for trying to figure out if you need to give your infant Tylenol for a fever.

    Poor quality and support documentation

    Quickly becomes inaccurate and only reading a HI temp for everything, no number. No support documentation available online. Although lots of people have asked in the questions and answers.

    Do not buy

    Terribly inaccurate readings. Temperature would vary within multiple degrees when moving even a millimeter. Readings ranged from totally normal temp to 100°+ all within seconds. Really terrifying! Rectal seems to be the gold standard and not as scary to do as I thought.

    Dangerously inccurate

    Initially I bought this to monitor my kids fever while they were asleep, but it’s horrible. My kid felt so warm and this thermometer says their temp is 98.8, I retested on another ear thermometer and her actual temp is 103.2. I feel bad for other times in the past I used the Frida baby one and it read that did not have a fever, when in fact they most likely did. Really disappointed, do not buy !

    Great Product

    I really enjoy this thermometer. I've had struggles with other brands and this one has worked great. I had some issues and Frida took great care of us to get the problem fixed.

    Disgusting and Inappropriate
