I love everything about it. I love that I can track my workout and listen to my favorite playlist without having to carry my phone into the gym. It is a very smart watch that is intuitive to use.
Perfect for me

Bought this watch and have had it about a month. Switched from an Apple Watch and never looking back. Love the battery life as well as the smartwatch capabilities.

This watch is bright and easy to see in various lighting conditions. It is intuitively designed. I can quickly access most of its features automatically. I also love how it feels on my wrist. Most times I forget that it's there.
Great watch! But…

Love the Watch, battery time is great and a lot of great features. I just wish it had more sports in the list of activities, I play handball and would love to just press ”handball” in activities when I have training, rather then having to manually add it after every workout

I absolutely love the health and performance data that is available on Garmin. I will keep it due to the data and options but it has some room for improvement. I’m a pretty tech savvy person but the set up and ongoing update process requires a lot more than an Apple Watch. I had to download two apps and software to add Spotify to my watch or upload watch faces. I was successful but the process is far from smooth and can use refinement. Another con is the transfer of data to other apps such as Apple Health and Pacer. I have pretty much lost my data because it doesn’t sync consistently even when I try to help with the sync process. Beyond that the battery life and access to performance data will keep me using my Garmin.

I bought this to replace my Fitbit Sense which died. I loved that Sense, but this Garmin is proving to be a good alternative. It gives me lots of information, and I do not have to buy a subscription--I refuse to buy a watch that won't give me info without a subscription. I am still learning all its features. I've discovered all the watch faces I can download. I love design and color--- I wouldn't buy a watch without it.

Love the watch except for the fact that I cannot use voice assistant with my new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Brand new phone and brand new watch and it's hard to believe the phone is not compatible to use voice assistant with Venu 3. Disappointing.
Does everything I need it to.

So I had a FitBit Sense 2 for about two years. As you know, they FitBits are being discontinued and now everything is with the Google Pixel watch. This watch has a horrible battery life (28 hours) so that was a major deal breaker. Also the watch would not accurately count all of my steps. did not accurately measure my distance in a walking workout, and would report wild fluctuations in pulse. My Venu accurately counts my steps. It accurately records distance, whether running or walking. My pulse rises gradually during a run. I do not have to continually watch it during a run, but can rather focus on my pace per lap, etc. The metrics displayed during a run or a walk are numerous and totally customizable. The pace per lap has helped me to get consistent km times and lets me know if I have to push the final minute to get under my goal per km. There is an audible notification at each km so I don't have to be looking down for the last .05 km. It tells me "lap X" so I know how many km I have done and it tells me the km split time plus the cumulative time for a km I have run thus far. The choices for watch faces is practically unlimited. You can search for a theme and chances are you will find one that you like. Many are free and many are customizable. I found a nice Star Trek face. Setup was easy. The watch syncs with my phone nicely. I get all kinds of notifications, texts, email, phone calls, etc. The Garmin Connect app has way too much stuff for me to list here. I think unless you are a serious runner training for a specific race, the Venu 3 should be sufficient for your workout needs.

I couldn’t be happier with my Garmin Venu 3. Right out of the box, the vibrant color display and customizable watch face made it feel personal and easy to tailor to my style. But where this watch really shines is in its health and wellness features. Sleep tracking is incredibly detailed, giving me insights not only into how long I’ve slept but also the quality of each stage of rest. The Pulse Ox sensor helps me keep tabs on my oxygen levels throughout the night and during activities, while HRV (heart rate variability) tracking adds another layer of understanding to my overall stress and recovery trends. The guided breathwork and meditation activities have been great for building mindfulness into my day, and I love that I can easily log and track my weight training sessions. When I’m outdoors, the hiking activity mode combines GPS accuracy with health data so I can see exactly how my body is performing on the trail. Garmin clearly designed the Venu 3 to support a full-picture approach to wellness. Whether I’m working out, relaxing, or just going about my day, it’s like having a health coach on my wrist.

I love the battery life on this thing. I wanted a watch that wouldn't die every other day, and this thing has proven to be an Energizer bunny with great lasting battery life. I also love the variety of watch faces available and the insights provided by the sleep coach. Happy with this purchase!
Has all the features, but poor quality control

It checks off the most boxes for what I want out of a watch within my price range, but quality issues bring it down. I had to have my original watch replaced due to a known issue with "mushy" buttons. Now my watch is incapable of accurately measuring the stairs climbed due to a barometer issue.

Was having charging problems with Venu. After I had it for over 3 to 4 years. Love my Venu and missed it but love, love and I mean love my new Venu3. It has more features and loves the size of my screen. Female needed a little bigger face size. Had two switches out the silicone bands for stretchy fabric bands.
My favorite watch EVER!

When I got my watch about a month ago, I was debating on whether to get the Venue3 or the Venue3S because I wasn't sure about the larger watch on my wrist. I decided on the Venue3 and have been so happy with my decision to go with the bigger watch! I love the size, the battery life, the health and Smartwatch features of this venue 3. This is by far my favorite watch that I've owned not just for its health tracking features but also the stylish design!

Very happy with battery life and features of the Venu 3. Haven't had a chance to use it for longer cycling rides or golf, but seems like it should work good.
So much better than my Apple Watch

All features are good & advance but 5G network are not visible on the watch, hence not able to connect directly. Please see if anything can be done about it. I have Venu 3, operating in India

I finally made the jump from my old Apple Watch to a Garmin and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. When doing my research about Garmin, I heard it described as “a fitness watch with smart watch capabilities,” and I believe this to be the most accurate description. This is one of the best watches around for tracking fitness and lifestyle. I have been wearing it daily for about a month now and enjoy all the statistics of my day to day. The battery on the Venu 3s is amazing! As preciously stated, I had an Apple Watch and could not make it through the day without needing it to charge for at least an hour. But this watch has never dipped below 85% battery during the day and charges to full while I take my daily showers. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the Garmin Venu 3s for anyone looking!
